2 hours ago2 hr comment_235645 Terrible playing calling, no one making plays. Swift fumbles at goalline, refs only calling penalties on the Bears. Wild how much they have to overcome and they are only down by 3. Report

Big time disagree on the lost season. BJ is supposed to be the next best thing and I suspect he’ll adapt his offense accordingly. Shoulda been ALOT more running in this game. Last year after an 0-2 start, Johnson adapted to a lot more zone rushing to pull more outta Swift and Monangai. Then about 4-5 weeks into the season remembered they drafted Loveland in the first round and started using him. WAY too early to call it a lost season. Report
1 hour ago1 hr comment_235650 BJ was ass today. Time for an ego check. Leaving Loveland in to block, on the last play, was stupid. Report

Without Williams they will be lucky to win 5 games. Report
1 hour ago1 hr comment_235652 Loveland has 1 reception for 3 yards on the season. He had more targets and receptions last year as a rookie coming off injury and not knowing the offense. He was supposed to be the next Bowers/McBride. His lack of involvement in the passing game has been a disappointment. A week after Swift has an amazing game he fumbles on the 1-yard line. That was the difference in the game. The Bears win 10-9 with that TD. Such a terrible loss in so many ways, Williams hurt, Swift fumble, Santos blocked FG, ass play calling. At least the defense stepped up, but how can the Bears never play a complete game? Report

1 hour ago1 hr comment_235655 Hopefully this is an early season wake up call. Defense can still improve but looked better. I have no idea what happened to the offense, and I don't understand where all the easy quick passes were to beat the blitz. Those are typically to the TEs. Very frustrating so far, especially considering how good they looked against CAR. CAR held ATL to 3 pts this week.CLE beat TB and NO beat BAL, so anything can happen in the first month of the season. 1 hour ago1 hr comment_235656 Any one else feel that the Bears should have took the FG on 4th and 1, when on the 8 yd line, that they converted but later had FG blocked? Take the 3, game is tied, and we Caleb escapes injury with plenty of time left. Report

A week after both RBs got over 100 each and an inclement game to boot. Play calling was indeed suspect. Report

Losing your franchise QB is crushing and will be a tougher road to find success with Bagent, but Ben Johnson can design an offense for him with dink and dunk plays to use his quick processing Report

He's cost us two blocked kicks. Last week he gave up the inside rusher, this week he gave up the outside which is normal but he's got to at least put a hand on him and slow him down a half step. Still need confirmation on that but I'm hopeful this isn't a badly torn hamstring. Report
24 minutes ago24 min comment_235662 Two glaring things that stood out to me from this game:-Ben Johnson is really bad against NFC North defensive coordinators-The Bears receivers might suck3rd time in a row Brian Flores thoroughly outcoached Ben Johnson. They blitzed over 70% of the game and our receivers still couldn't get open. They had zero answers for anything. The OL got pushed around all game again, too. Colston Loveland only has 1 catch this season. Really discouraging sign for Mr. offensive genius who wants to break scoring records. Maybe just focus on looking better against quality coaches instead of bum slaying? If Caleb Williams ends up on IR, the season's over anyways. How quickly things can change. Back to being miserable...
