I really wanted Arthur Brown...at least they got the positions right. G and LB were both major needs.

With Minter and Alonso gone if you wanted an ILB this was the next rated guy.

They dont pick players we like or (football experts) like, they pick the players how they rate them. I hope there smarter than everybody else, and will see how all of this turns out.

The Bears fill their need at MLB with Bostic, who was a highly productive player at Florida. Not a great athlete, Bostic is definitely a reach -- the second reach for Chicago in this draft. Bostic is a strong and physical player who attacks and makes big hits, but he is not a top athlete.

I liked Brown a heck of a lot. I'm a little pissed we didn't take him, but not as mad as I was last night.

He's fast and violent. I like that.

 

Have to see if I can find a game film of him to see how he handles blocks and plays away from him.

I thought it would be Brown too, but the Bears did plenty of homework on Brown and apparently liked Bostic better, probably because he's a better potential fit at MLB, is a bit faster, and has fewer durability concerns. I like the depth at CB and WR more than at LB, so I'm OK with this pick.

One thing we the top 2 picks, we are much more athletic and fast.

they are at least taking the right positions, just rate those picks higher than what we like.

His pro day he ran the 40 in 4.5. And I just like the violence and open field tackling. Closing speed is great. I like the pick.
