  1. paranoia strikes deep. into your life it will creep. did i accuse you of producing ANY video? am i 'riding your ass' for anything other than the inane comments you made? as far as facts? what are the actual facts in conjunction within the context of it being used? that is how innuendo's are misinterpreted into basic fact/lies.
  2. i really don't mind a debate on skills and even attitude but the stuff that is being put out is beyond the pale. i am not frothing at the mouth for williams. i am hoping he is all that and a bag of chips but if not so be it and i hope we draft the one who is. i haven't done the film study or in depth analysis but this type of attack media is for fools who assume anything posted online has credence without in-depth review or research. anybody can say anything. it's up to you as an individual, if the poster doesn't do the work to back up their claims with FACTS, to shit-can the nonsense and lies.
  3. lies? innuendoes? rumours? are you taking some half baked video that was pieced together by an idiot as gospel and true? even if it has a grain of truth so what??
  4. that's what we all hope. think back on the didka days. it was money first, ego second and then dignity and respect a far third. as far as williams? if they pick him then let's see how he represents our franchise before we determine whether or not we should draft him because of mostly silly, non-dated or in context verbal diarrhea. if he's a psycho and won't play here i am sure someone in our organization will figure that out before april.
  5. wow, how soon they forget. or maybe rogers not even bothering to find out if his mother and brother burned to death in a CAL fire? or helping them out when their house burned down? i seem to remember something to that effect. am i wrong? at least this kid seems to care and isn't a sociopath like rogers. i personally don't give a shite what anyone says if we have a qb that can put us in the winners circle.
  6. about THAT crap? it's truly laughable that any credible source of nfl information or even dumb fans would post nonsense like that.
  7. i admit that i couldn't watch any more than about 3/4 of the first video because this is the biggest load of CRAP and waste of time i have seen pre-draft in a long, long, time. so freaking what that he paints his nails with insults to opposing teams? who CARES if he gets in that imbecile on the field fans face? he didn't punch him at least which is seriously what i would have thought long an hard about myself. who CARES if he is looking to squeeze every penny out of a contract he can get? wouldn't you?? who CARES what his father has said or NOT said to the press? who CARES if he has a preference where he wants to play. they ALL do and some like elway and manning push it. poles will certainly know before draft day. who really gives a SHITE if he gets emotional with his mother in the stands? this moron commentator is whining about that?? who CARES if he didn't shake hands with the opponents or whatever post game? ANYBODY remember buddy ryan? who CARES if he is leary about chicago as a place where QB's go to die? everyone on this board has said the same at one time or another. EDIT: he didn't ignore allen for keerists sake. he shook his hand didn't he? is there some set of rules of when he should do it? if that's the BEST crap they can throw at the wall to hope it sticks it's pretty pathetic. whoever that hack is that narrated that video must be getting paid by washington or mayes agent.
  8. i'm not so sure. with all the qb's going in the top ten this is pushing down other first class draft picks down like DE or even LOT. if you get a chance to draft a blue chip player at one of those two positions you HAVE to take it. it could be years before we are drafting in the top 10 again and those premium players are the top of the list (other than qb) for building your franchise long term. you can pick up good+ receivers in future drafts in the middle of the first or even in free agency. you will rarely find premium LOT's or DE's in those slots. also we have seen what difference a good+ defensive end can do for our defense and overall chances to get to a superbowl. that means if sweat was injured there is nobody to fill in his shoes and it's very doubtful we would find that kind of player from a team like washington again. you would way overpay to replace him in free agency or a trade. the same could be said of LOT. if there is a premium blue chipper to replace our LOT that gives you a lot of trading power to other teams. if either of those type of players are there at 9 and they rate out that high i take them without any doubt.
  9. come on dude, there are kids reading this site. tone it down some.
  10. But the idea that Caleb not giving medicals is why Justin didnt get more value? That's nonsense. Poles needed the medical but then traded Fields anyway before the medical? That whole narrativer already was proven false today. here is a thought... not a single team in the nfl see's fields as a starting qb after 3 years in the league. potential? steelers think so and it's at a bare minimum cost to them especially now they have an aging qb's backup via injury or to possibly run trick plays. it's a smart move by the steelers AND a smart move by the bears too: a) get anything in return for releasing him. why would the bears want a split locker room or fan base in any sense of the word by keeping him? flus most likely was also consulted on this move and agreed. b) the bear organization respected fields enough that he was traded to a team with the BEST option for him to succeed and one he was 'probably' receptive to. if you are to believe what poles said about doing right by justin, he just proved it. this helps in our future for player acquisitions in free agency or even signing draft picks. it builds TRUST. that is worth losing a future 3rd round pick for next year (a value of 4th round this year). c) if fields succeeds in the future that in itself is great. he is a good kid. with the steelers this is a solid franchise for fields to either become a starter or reach his potential as a backup. there is NO WAY this was a bad move by chicago. they avoided a MAJOR gamble by keeping fields and hoping he turns out better than the entire NFL believes at this moment in time and losing the chance to draft the best prospect at qb in years. this is a win/win situation for all three parties involved. us keeping fields and hoping to trade him in the future to some crap team with a downed qb or hold him for a year in limbo to get a comp pick is surely is not in fields best interest. poles did it RIGHT.
  11. california is a 'smokey' state. hmmmm
  12. yeaaaaa i'm caleb ONLY or bust at least in my mind. it HAS to be him no matter what. add that to all the other non-information from you and.... dude, i am LAUGHING at you.
  13. wow... according to your theory poles is just another same ole same ole GM we have had in chicago since finks. win now so i can keep my job. give the suckers some faux hope with high priced/aging free agents guaranteed to turn it around and we can worry about the future some time in the future. LOL also just for curiosities sake... how long do YOU predict these wonder players we will be drafting in exchange for our #1 pick will take to become all-pro players (or for that matter even GOOD)? what is the average for ANY position to become acclimated to the NFL at a consistent HIGH all-pro level? i guess nobody ever thought of that huh?

  15. Caleb has talent but there's still a risk with any QB drafted. Much worst consequences with the first pick. Poles knows he has to win this year. OK. are you saying that there is no or minimal risk picking more non-QB player/players as long as you don't use the #1 pick? is that what you are really saying? so to 'reduce' the risk of lower picks being a bust, do you draft the same player position with all your draft picks? otherwise what sense does that make? Draft Williams knowing QBs usually struggle their first year and get one more blue chip player at 9. Your next pick is 75. Starters are more likely in round 1 +2 than later in draft. WR or Edge? so poles is going to figure it will take too long for a drafted qb to help the team he thinks has to win NOW (not a year or three from now) to keep his job? drafting edge or wide receivers is his goal to keep it? if that's the case he is surely the wrong man for the GM spot in chicago. Trade back to 2, draft capital. Trade back again and have 9 and a 10 to 15 pick. You can draft Verse or Latui and Brian Thomas plus get 2 to 3 second round picks. Draft Zach Frazier, OG-OT and maybe a QB prospect. Another WR? A Brandon Fiske? Jaylen Wright? so GAMBLING on more draft 'capital' is the solution to winning a superbowl? more WR's, G's, DE's etc. and hope they turn out average at the worst? If Poles believes Williams is the guy, he will take him and keep trading back for more picks. What if he doesn't? No one has that answer. i already know the obvious, just tell me the incredibly obvious. The second option wins more games than drafting a rookie QB. Stroud was an outlier, that rarely happens. who gives two shites if we win more games? there is only ONE game i want to win consistently!
