  2. Seeding scenarios: It seems that the Bears have 3 slots that are the most likely outcomes, their current slot is #2, home playoff game against #7 seed which is currently GB. This is the most likely outcome. If the Bears beat GB, that positioning actually gets stronger because DET is 1.5 games back, so even a GB loss to the Bears and a DET win against PIT would not change the 2 v 7 seeding for Bears v Packers. If things go well for the Bears, the next seed option is actually #1 Seed, first round bye. Win out and SEA loses one game. If things go bad for the Bears, they would slide all the way to the #7 Seed and it would be role reversal, playing in GB for the Wild Card Round. There is still a chance at not making the playoffs, but if they lose to GB at home, they don't deserve to be in the playoffs imo. If 3-0 = #1 seed or #2 seed, 50/50. If 2-1 = #2 seed, 100. If 1-2 = #7 seed or miss playoffs, 75/25. DET needs to win out with Bears only beating SF or GB. If 0-3 = miss playoffs or #7 seed 95/5. DET would need to lose to PIT and MIN for the Bears to get in at 10-7.
  3. Now Deandre Swift on the injury report. Potentially aggravated the groin injury from earlier in the season. Listed as questionable.
  4. Bears lead the NFL in Rushing First Downs with 123. The next closest team is BUF with 116, but they have 41 from Allen at QB. Bears lead the NFL in Takeaways with 30. The next closest team is JAX with 26. Crazy how much takeaways correlate with success. The top 11 teams in takeaways: CHI 10-4, JAX 10-4, HOU 9-5, LAR 11-4, PIT 8-6, SEA 12-3, LAC 10-4, TB 7-7, BUF 10-4, and IND 8-6. PHI is 11th at 9-5. Packers were 5-4 on the road last year and 5-6 in 2023, but are currently 4-2-1 this year. So they are due for a correction.
  5. Crazy game last night in SEA, but the SEA win really makes a Bears #1 Seed a possibility. Obviously, the Bears have to do their part, but now the only external help needed is SEA losing one of two to CAR and SF, both games on the road.
  6. I seen one report we picked up Judon but I usually like to see 2 to verify it. If he helps, good signings, if not,no big deal.
  7. We have WRs down this week, BJ going to give him a couple snaps?
  8. That family is always entertaining. Not sure the one at Texas now is next level type QB.
  9. Not on here but many people talking about picking up Matt Judon. This is why you don't.
  10. This game may define where we are as a team culture, but without Odunze and Burden, we can make a gut check call, but we cant demonstrate how dominant our offense is, theyd have to go off too to do that. But can we win? Hell yes. I expect a lot of running, play action to TEs, and hopefully we can get Moore involved, but i bet theyll double him. I sure hope 12 and 14 are ready to go.
  11. I try to talk myself into, the Packers aren't very good but they are. This game will define how far we have come this year. Winning is all that will matter.
  12. Yesterday
  13. And, unfortunately for us older fans, we remember HOF QB Bart Starr from the 1950's. How can one team manage to have three HOF-quality QBs spanning the entire Super Bowl Era? I was praying J Love would suck, leaving the Packers in the QB Hell the Bears have suffered for so long.

  15. I honestly don’t. I want them to be riddled by season-ending injuries. I want them to be completely barren. I want them to suffer. This goes all the way back to Charles Martin and the never-ending string of Bears’ QBs afterwards. I’ll never let it go. Especially when they get back to back HOF QBs over the stretch of 20 years, followed by what appears to be yet another franchise QB.
  16. That is funny...don't care who you are. Hopefully he can do more of the same this Saturday. I'd like to see a little more out of him...consistency wise.
  17. Lol, saw that yesterday. I like the Jackson pick, where Sanders just stood and watched with zero effort to help tackle. What a douche...
  18. 😂🤣😂🤣😂
  19. Or you can say he's Alvin Harper and the price skyrockets...
  20. I believe Ryan Poles has a position value model. RB safety and LB are not first round positions unless you absolutely have a blue chip player. Any of those that are blue chip are likely long gone before pick 20+. I just can’t see him valuing any of those players over the DEs or DTs that are likely to be on the board when we pick. I think he keeps doing what he’s done since he’s been here: draft a RB on day 3. Before the draft we’ll know how they feel about Edmund’s and DJack. Hipólyte is going to be a question mark. I expect they will believe they have their top 3 starters and just need to add depth but a stud could easily fall to us in Rd 2.
  21. Huge game tonight for the NFC. The winner has the highest odds to be the #1 seed. The loser doesn't have a bad consolation ending up as the #5 seed and trip to TB or CAR for the Wild Card round. However, if SEA wins, the Bears have a real shot at the #1 seed.
  22. Line down to GB -1. Most of the money is coming in on the CHI side. I would not be surprised if this slides to even favor the Bears by 1 by game time.
  23. Part of this will be determined by the outcome of this season. If someone like DJ is a key contributor late in the season and into the playoffs, it would make it harder to move on from him. That rarely happens. However, if they somehow don't make the playoffs, or are one and done, and DJ is not a main contributor, then moving away from him is easier to do.

    D’Marco Jackson

Yeah, Moody as well. Next Man Up Year.
  25. Or draft one (rb) early if there is a player that adds explosive play potential. Johnson wants players all over the field, offense/defense, that have that. He had an acronym that I tried to look up. Just because we need DE/DT/S doesnt mean we draft them round 1. They will take the best player that they like.
