  1. Past hour
  2. The way both them coaches are risk takers and competitive, no way either relax in this game.
  3. There is zero chance Dan Campbell goes down without a fight. Tough year but I can see him telling his team let’s close it out against the division leader and let them know we’ll be back.
  4. Oh Skip, please just follow the growth and ,most importantly, the eye test...
  5. And that has never helped any other QB. Regardless, never been done means never been done.
  6. Today
  7. Actually, not too bad. So far this season he’s at 25 TDs to 6 INTs (45/12 overall), which is encouraging—especially in crunch time when you need results. It lowers the likelihood of costly mistakes under pressure. I remember thinking that last night as the game was winding down: at least we don’t have to worry as much about him throwing an interception. Of course part of that is also that he's been sending more balls into the sidelines which also figures into his passing efficiency (not just the drops).
  8. Wait until Caleb hits his stride, 200 yards more for each player.
  9. Billings has fallen off but not due to effort. I seen him several times 30 yards down field chasing players.
  10. I agree with your ranking but I don't think a offense on the rise will want to get rid of any weapons. I think DJ and Kmet are here one more year. Look at injuries with the Wrs and even TE, we needed all of them. Poles will restructure money and figure something out with a pass rusher. Imagine the same situation this year without DJ when Burden and Rome out. It would disable us.
  11. The other high picks were put into first back roles. Easley could have his 1000 rushing but adds great value as a 2 headed monster. Probably the best value pick in this draft. In a redraft I think he would be a 2nd round pick IMO.
  12. He has been solid with his first and second round picks it seems like the third rounders is his boogyman. He also has hit on late rounds. Not all rookies develop at the same timeline. Several other picks could turn into starters.
  13. Burden is ready to take the reins. With Rome on the verge to be a dominant 1 and now Burden rising, DJ sees the writing and might be happier moving. He is the top candidate to be moved this offseason. Edmunds either restructures or gets cut. They have to get some dogs on the dline. Billings looks like a care bear running in circles.
  14. Their is bo easy path to the SB but just hope we have as many home games as possible.
  15. The 4000 pedestal is like the 1000 pedistal for RBs. It sounds good but isn't really any big deal anymore. I think the TD to intercept is a better indicator of a good QB. I think Caleb is 24-6? I guessed at that so that may not be right.
  16. Yesterday
  17. Agree, that's what Jarrett was supposed to be but obviously hasn't worked out. Booker, Sweat and inside pressure will create a descent outcome.
  18. Thinking the same thing.
  19. for sure - like the defensive line! I think between DJ, JJ and Edmunds there is $45M right there.
  20. Well with the way we are unable to stop the run, a good 3T is necessary, to tackle runners AND to collapse the pocket. So i agree DT is definitely a need. And we need a real stud edge too. Hopefully we can fill both needs in the offseason. We could debate which is more important, and Im not even saying you arent right - but if we get both, then we are ready to rock.
  21. I really like David Montgomery, but I really like Kyle Monangai too
  22. BJ does a great job of getting everyone touches. Even 2nd stringers get playing time, even if he has to bring them in as a 6th OL or whatever. And this keeps players happy AND makes sure your depth players have some experience, which we have seen this year is a really good thing to do.
  23. you could tell last week two - the game slowed down for him. he is becoming what he looked like he could become from the draft!
  24. Goff is still hovering around a 70% completion rate — a level Johnson wants Williams to aim for. This year, Caleb’s been stuck in the high-50s (roughly 58%). Logic suggests that should improve next season. And because Bears fandom is nothing if not cruelly self-aware… I saw someone point out today that if Williams cracks 4,000 passing yards, it won’t just be the first time a Bears QB has ever done it — he’ll also owe a thank-you note to the 17-game schedule. 🤷‍♂️
  25. Damn, he did it really early. I didn't recall hearing about it.
  26. Not sure. I know he benefited from Detroit and New Orleans respective scouting departments. I'm sure BJ, DA and Rousher will be tremendous resources going forward.
