  1. Past hour
  2. Shouldn't the helmet to helmet tackle on Kmet been a penalty???
  3. Pressured on first 5 of 7 dropbacks, gotta make them pay for that.
  4. Not impressed with the play calls today. Can't have the overthrows either. The defense is not on their heels at all. Everything seems too predictable.
  5. I think the Vikings defense has confused Caleb a lot today. Johnson needs to dial up the right plays and get Caleb's eyes where they need to be. This is a good trial by fire. I get that the Vikings defense is playing man to man with a spy, and the best way to attack that is with the deep ball, but you gotta move the chains. And that's on Johnson and the WRs getting open in shorter and intermediate routes too.
  6. Caleb throws with no touch, whatsoever. These overthrows are college backup quality.
  7. Play calling as been terrible. Trying to be too cute. How about using the tight ends instead of going deep all the time.
  8. One day he will get the touch, but frustrating when first downs were open underneath.
  9. Offense didn't come ready to play. Horrible playcalling and execution. Caleb missing open deep throws. Not good.
  10. Caleb needs to settle down, and we will be VERY happy to get JJ back and move Wright back to backup. Sheesh.
  11. Two observations. We need Edwards back. And how does Billings gain weight every week? 🤯
  12. Today
  13. This team has to find a way to do no worse than 2-2 during this 4 game stretch if they want to keep their playoff hopes realistically alive. Today's the most important day of the 4. Knock off Minnesota as a wildcard competitor and start racking up wins in the division, which could be important for tiebreakers later.
  14. Yesterday
  15. great find, thank you! Considering that they opened the window for him on Friday, and that he is out for this week, that means he is either coming back next week, the week after, or not at all for the season. The game the week after that would fall outside the 21 day window. So the next two weeks it is. For the Steelers or the Eagles game. It would be nice to have him next week if he's ready!
  16. Correct, he must return within the 21 day window. A quick search found this on the designated to return rules:
  17. Damn, nice find! Though a loss wouldn't be the end of the world, it'll be hard for me to take the Bears seriously if they let JJ McCarthy sweep them.
  18. I THINK (and I could be wrong) that once you start the 21 day window you have to add the player to the 53 within that window, or the player is done for the year once you declare that window? So now he HAS to return to the 53 within the next 21 days or hes gone for the season. Like you say, he can practice with the team, and not count against the 53 until they activate him. But they cant wait more than 21 days to do that now, so theoretically, he should be back soon? This week or next week? I dont anticipate it this week, but next week?
  19. On nytimes.com/athletic, there's an article with some fun facts. I love this one as it is almost eerie in its timing:
  20. A more in depth review of the Bears from Bercich. Some of the plays he highlights are the same. My overall take is that he does not sound confident in his team going against this offense. My second observation is that he sees what Caleb is becoming and it's not good for the Vikings. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XH1RO0mcGaI
  21. 21 day window is to bring him back to the active roster. He is not on the 53 but can practice with the team. I thought there was a limit after which players could no longer return from IR. Maybe 2 or 3 weeks before the end of the season the return window closed?
