Bears 10-4, still have outside shot at a first-round bye, though very unlikely. The game is still important to at least lock in the #3 seed. Interesting to see the line only at -4. Based on some bookie sites, a lot of money going SF's way. Hopefully not a trap game, we need to finish strong and Trubisky needs to string together some solid games. Bears 27-13.

With the division champs locked in, we now know our 2019 schedule. When you win, the battles become tougher. Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions, NFC East-Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants and Washington Redskin, AFC West-Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, Oakland Raiders and Denver Broncos, NFC North division, New Orleans Saints and the Los Angeles Rams.

I'm loving this season. LOVING. But I'm worried. I feel like this season is a lot like Icarus. Flying too far too fast could cause huge problems. Amos needs re-signing now. Fuller, Floyd, Bush are all in 2019, and Eddie Jackson should be on tap quickly thereafter. One more year like this one, and I'm sure there are a few who others who will want to restructure. We won't be able to keep them all. Add that to the fact that there is a serious lack of draft picks, and I'm a bit worried about the path forward. I feel like the window is open, but it's only open for a year or two more.

out in the 2nd half with a foot injury. hopefully this is a minor injury. callahan is one of the most improved players this season and really anchors our defensive backfield when on the field. this guy is a keeper.

The Bears have a chance to win the Division, while knocking GB out of playoff contention, in front of their home crowd, it doesn't get much better than this. It should be one of those "passing the torch" type of games with a win. We need to stay ahead of Dallas and depending on if LAR or NO tank, we have an outside shot at a bye. Floyd IMO is still ascending. I think with his body type we'll see that for a couple more years as he gains strength. The decision on his 5th year option is due this offseason and with all the things he does well I don't see anyway we can let him go after next season. So we're likely paying him the 5th year option which I believe is worth around $13-15mil. I'd rather see if we can work out a 3 or 4yr extension and since he doesn't have elite sack numbers try to keep him for around $8-10mil/yr. He's a good player but not elite in any category and his injury history mucks up the negotiating waters. If he's here for 4 more years (3 yr extension) he's just 30 when…

Wow, Cohen moves and jukes like my fav, Sayers. Pace got a gem, like Papa Bear did. I really missed this type of football. Loved it in 64-65, adore it now.

Been waiting for this thread to popup but now it's time to speak my peace before the Rams game. First, no matter what happens I don't want Matt Nagy to call that play with the little inside touch pass to Trey Burton. This would be a good week to leave that off the play sheet. Next, let's run left and directly at Aaron Donald with Jordan Howard. Make him do what he does not want to do in fighting off a block to tackle a bit RB, and make him do it all game long.
