After Cutler came out and made statements about the OLine, Webb told the press he would be ready to play that all off season he has been "eating and drinking football" and has Cutlers back. It thats the case, last year he must have been on a fasting diet.

IMHO the real postion battles that we should keep an eye on is the Oline. These are the players we have on the roster Roberto Garza C, Chris Spencer C ,Cory Brandon OT, James Brown OT, Gabe Carimi OT, A.J. Greene OT, Tyler Hendrickson OT, J'Marcus Webb OT, Ricky Henry OG , Lance Louis OG ,Nick Pieschel OG Chilo Rachal OG, Chris Williams OG Edwin Williams OG/C. Looking at these players i think from the start that Greene, Hendrickson,Henry,Brandon and Pieschel wont make the team...that just me. The GM spoke about Henry, Pieschel and Rachal so who knows...but I have a feeling that its going to be Williams LT, Spencer LG, Garza C, Louis RG Carimi RT as the 1st string,…

- Webb blocks like the defense has leprosy. When he decides to block, he holds. Not impressed by him whatsoever, actually disgusted. IMO, the biggest disappointment of the game. - Spencer/Louis, Garza and Williams did well. - Carmini did great and I can see his potential. - Thank God Spaeth was signed to make up for Webb's lack of everything. - Fotre...pay him. 'Nuff Said. - Cutler looked great and actually looked like he enjoyed himself. Good to see him smile and have positive body language so the announcers can quit busting his balls. - The WR core did a lot better than anticipated. Williams did well and I hope his injury is not serious. Knox did great. Hes…

i have compiled this information to illustrate the importance of drafting well and particularly drafting well in rounds 1-3 if you want to participate in a superbowl. also, i believe the quality of those draft picks is PARAMOUNT to the health and competiveness of your team yet if you look at the bears roster, the number of quality players drafted in these rounds by jerry angelo is exceptionally poor. below are listed all superbowl participents since jerry angelo became GM and participated in the bears draft choices below. I have also listed below all of the bear rosters to date for comparrison. feel free to copy this information for future references if you wis…

Dennard/CB/Neb with first pick Toon/WR/WI with the second pick Zeitler/OG/WI with first of third round Carder/MLB/TCU with second of third round Green/TE/LouLaff with fourth round. I think this would be a good draft if we still go after WR,DE,and OL in FAgency. Lets say Mathis/DE/ Colts ( with new regime will probably take a fresh start attitude and let some of the older guys go. Lets say Reggie Wayne/WR/Colts (same reason) Lets say Eddie Royal/WR/ Den ( fresh start with the a qb he played well with) Lets say Demetri Bell/LT/Buf (he is young and had an injury this year, but if Buffalo doesnt Franchise him, pay him;above average LT) I…

So, I was wondering. You think GB lost so they could get a better position in the draft? Sorry...feeling giddy.

PFT reported earlier that Green Bay is likely to cut Chad Clifton and restructure Donald Driver's deal. I know Clifton is 35, but he'd be an instant upgrade at LT. Perhaps this way, they can get LT and WR done in FA and focus on the D in the draft. Just a thought.

per Schefter, Marshall was involved in another OTF incident and may face league ruling.

The Bears win 10 games. The Bears lose in the NFC title game in Lambeau. McClellin has 8 sacks. Peppers had 13 sacks, combined with a few FF's, FR's, and an INT or two and wins DPOY. Cutler has 30+ TD's and less than 15 INT's and plays all 16 games. He only will get sacked 28 times. Conte has 7 INT's. Evan Rodriguez is a starter by week 17. Marshall leads Bears' WR's in catches and yards. Bennett is second in both categories. Jeffery leads all WR's on the Bears in TD's. Urlacher doesn't play until week 7 (week after the bye).

I like this. Now go and watch film because Chris Long and Robert Quinn can get after the QB.

According to 670 the score, Bears negotiating with Lovie Smith on a two year extension.

The Bears already have restructured Jays contract. Converting 5 million to bonus last Friday. Wonder who we anticipate on signing?

This is an article that suggests what Emery might do in the draft. His traits he looks for. I think Hageman also fits that mold. http://nflmocks.com/2014/03/29/chicago-bea...icks-nfl-draft/

Bears trade up and snag my guy. Love his size/speed, bloodlines, cover skills, all of it. Finally a pick I really like. Any wrestling fans here will appreciate the drawn out Brock in the title.

If a player decides to hold out a entire season, what is his status the following season? Does he still owe the team work for the previous year? Does it matter how many years of service? Also does it matter if it's the final year of a contract? Gurus needed!:

Hmmmm... The question has to be asked. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/...xt-bears-coach/

I totally missed this, so sorry if this is a repost, but this seems like a great idea for teams to get an apples to apples comparison of vets trying to make a team. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/...gents-in-march/
