Allright MadLith (and all other non-Lovie advocates), I will concede that if Lovie and Co. cannot pull it together this year and at the very least make it to the playoffs, away he (and they) go. With the additions of Peppers, Taylor, Manumaleuena (sp?), Cutler and who else??? then there is absolutely no excuse the Bears should not be contenders for the upcoming year...or for a few afterwards. This is another fantastic day in Bears history.

Since last year ive wanted a freak in the secondary, Taylor Mays has not been picked and is a friggin beast. Dont get me wrong, id rather get Nate Allen in thre 3rd, but he wont be there, guaranteed, probably Burnett either. Unheard of size and speed, dont care why other teams pass, what do they know?

Of course, there's never any telling with JA and company, but as I see it, the Bears are most likely to go DT, CB, or OL. Listening to sports radio this morning one would think the bears were the underdog. According to these "experts" the bears not only don't "deserve" to be there but that the seahawks should win here are some of the points they made. 1. Damn i was getting nervous, feels pretty good to not worry about the CBA. Who will be the first player targeted by the Bears??? Im thinking a DL. I would love a good WR but think it will be a DL. Tell me who you think they will go after first and who you would want them to go after first. Im thinking Cullen Jenkins= only cause there was a bunch of talk about it. Just some random thoughts on the game - Cutler again looked comfortable and his mechanics and decision making was good only really rushed one throw, and the pick was not his fault. I've been pretty pleased with Jay's performance thus far. - Roy Williams... the pick was your fault 100% the ball hit you in the hands and was picked off A couple nice catches but you have got to catch the ball in traffic and especially if it hits you in the hands. - I'm a little concerned about Gould's inconsistency this preseason, not sure how much of this is Maynard no longer being the holder but this has to get tightened up.
