The regular season is upon us with games starting on Wednesday. So we get a few games before the Bears play. Hoping for good news later in the week on the injury front. The Bears need to handle business this weekend. CAR has no business being in this game. Last year they failed to score 20 pts in 10 out of 17 games. 6 out of 8 wins were by 3 pts, and 6 of 9 losses were by 10 or more. They were either getting beat bad or barely winning. That is a recipe for disaster. If the Division wasn't so bad, they would've been a 5-6 win team. Even with injuries, I think the Bears win handily 27-16.

I think Jacobs is never to be heard from again even if he comes back late. If Lloyd stays healthy or Kaleb Johnson shows his stuff, I think they dumb Jacobs for the salary contribution. IF they struggle with the run game, they will want him back. What does everyone think of Kyler Murray? I think he preforms better than being projected. Lions are going to be a juggernaut on offense but as usual, their defense is injured again. They have a rookie RT, Penell is playing LT and a new center with no fanfare. I dont think they start the season hitting the ground running.

The reason I'm optimistic, this year, is because Tom Thayer is finally optimistic. He hasn't been this optimistic since 05. Went out of practice on a non-contact injury doing 1:1 with Kmet. Out 8-10 weeks (so will likely miss 1st 5 games of the season (maybe more). Hyer-extended knee, bruise and small bone break. Lucky this wasn't worse but still a huge loss. Get better soon Coby!
