Our new punter the 6th RD draft pick can do more than just punt. He can kick off and kick field goals as well. Bostic played with him in high school its said he made a 52 yard field goal in high school and kicked the ball out of the end zone 95% of the time with a 47.7 punting average. Wow 47.7 compared to our punter last year of what like 40.1.........might be a great pick

Was reading a story in the Bleacher Report on "Top 10 undrafted free agents who could be a major contributor in 2014" and former FSU LB Christian Jones (now Chicago Bears) was mentioned. (Sorry can't post the link). According to some links in the story he was once a higher touted player but "failed a drug test at the combine" and dropped in stock as a result. Comparisons were of him to the Bills Manny Lawson. Anyone heard of him? I like what I see. Maybe an eventual starter in place of Greene or if SMC fails miserably at his conversion?

Number one for me is obvious: HOU - Monster draft. Clowney is a stud. Su'a Filo is a stud. Both start day 1. CJ Fiedorowicz has a good chance of starting day 1. Same goes for Louis Nix. And for that matter, if this Savage kid has what a lot of people are saying, he might end up starting. If not now, maybe next year. The other 9, in no specific order: ATL - Very good draft. Matthews is a 10-year bookend, and Hageman is a DT with great upside. They needed speed in the defensive backfield, and Southward has it. I also liked Shembo in college. Ego Ferguson DT LSU will play 2 technique for the Bears. Haven't heard that term used much, but that is lining up in the middle of the G. New defense, different alignments I suppose.

Our Lads is run by former scouts and I look often at there opinions. 1. They had Fuller rated as the 5th best prospect 2. They had Ego as the 4th best DT 3. They had Sutton rated as the 5th best DT 4a They had Carey as there top rated RB 4b I could not find his name in the ratings. 6 Fales as the 13th rated QB 6 Donnerly as the top rated punter 7 Leno as the 12th best T UDA Jones as 4th best ILB UDA Lattimer as the 7th best ILB UDA Groy as 13th best G Im not saying they are smarter than anybody else but they have at least been in the War Room before.

The QB Whisperer gets another toy. Decent pick for the 6th round.

We are inside 1 week left before the draft. I'm going to spend the next few days trying to figure out who Emery's WTF pick will be. So far in his drafts it's been SMC followed by Kyle Long. I just posted in the other thread about "Emery's 6". Well that's what logic tells us. History tells us we're wrong. So who are we missing? Nix? Jernigan is more of a run stuffer than pass rusher. If you're going to go that route why not get the best run stuffer in the draft, one who also has some inside push as well? It's not hard to see Nix having the better career over Jernigan. At this point I'm gassed anyone with a list of guys after the next 2 picks that might be good fits here as undrafted free agents? I like the thought of NIU's Jordan lynch as an athlete brought in here as well as the union leader Cain Colter in the same capacity.
