Bearstalk

Might be a nice option and bring in someone in the draft.

2 yrs, $10 million, $4.75M this year, $5.25M next year https://twitter.com/MikeMcCartney7/status/443812046514040832 He was obviously priced out of our range.

Will probably be available soon. Was thinking this earlier this week and heard someone mention it on NFL AM; what if Chicago were to look at him as a slot receiver?

He needs a thread of his own.... The Vikes, who Melton visited, signed Linval Joseph, so I think that takes them out of the race. I'd say Cowboys are still an option.

It's rumored we could be targeting him. He's a somewhat local kid from the "GI" (Gary, Indiana). I actually think he'd be a real good 3-tech, might get a look at DE. Probably looking at 3-4mil. Could probably grab him and another DE, then fix the secondary in the draft.

Per Jeff Dickerson Bears just sign MD Jennings

I mean what are they doing? Are they planning to trade up and filling roster spots ?

Just as a side note; where it appears the Bears are plodding along in FA, Denver is setting up for another run (or two) to the Super Bowl. Added TJ Ward and Aquib Talib today and looking like Demarcus Ware will soon be joining Von Miller along the front seven... Yikes.

Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter 5s Bears announced they are releasing DE Julius Peppers.

The Bears are talking to WR Dominick Hixon, formally of the panthers. What do you think.

http://www.carolinahuddle.com/boards/topic...-senn-to-bears/ Presume this is a ST signing?

Brad Biggs ‏@BradBiggs 9m .@DanWiederer reports #Bears closing in on a contract for LB D.J. Williams to return. http://bit.ly/1h7u6by More than likely another vet min deal, or near it. Believe he played for a mill last year, probably gets less after another injury plagued season. Would provide nice competition to Bostic and SMD (Greene as well I suppose). I still expect 2 of those 3 to be the starters. ****EDIT*** Done deal, details later.

Makes sense I guess now that they lose out on a good safety and Julius Peppers was released.

Falcons Release - Safety Thomas Decoud Is this guy any good? http://atlantafalcons.blog.ajc.com/2014/03...-thomas-decoud/

So with Hester and his "one dimensional" contribution possibly leaving Chicago, maybe a player like Sproles could be the replacement? He's multi dimensional (to include returning kicks) and is familiar to OC Kromer. Not exactly the 'change of pace' back I think most envision, especially with Bush gone. But maybe a good option as third down back behind Forte(?)

Need huge holes in D filled

Was just released. Would Chicago be able to use him? More importantly would he cost much? Ratliff and he reunited??

Whitner to Cleveland, Ward to Broncos https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter
