Competition for Conte Bench spot

Whitner to Cleveland, Ward to Broncos https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter

Was just released. Would Chicago be able to use him? More importantly would he cost much? Ratliff and he reunited??

5 YEARS 35Million, per score

I was close

Per Josina Anderson. Interesting since teams aren't supposed to talk numbers.

Lamar Houston DT/DE - 5.25M Mike Mitchell - 3.5M Dexter McCluster - 2.75M Kendrick Lewis - 1 year deal James Anderson Charles Tillman Peppers stays 1. Anthony Barr - ILB new team leader 2. Ego Furgeson - DT 3. Stanley JEAN-Baptiste -DB will be safety after a year or two 4. Josh Mauro - DE 5. Bryan Stork - C

His market value is pretty low with all younger guys cut. .. Pretty sure he retires a bear. I still think we draft a starter in the 3rd or 4th. ..

Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet 30m Source: #Bears are now targeting #Raiders star defensive end Lamarr Houston after missing out on Michael Bennett. They are pushing hard No surprise here. one thing we know for sure is the Bears want the best DE they can get, which is obviously the way to go.

Brad Biggs ‏@BradBiggs 1m Release of Michael Bush clears $2.85 million in cash savings. Bears news is flying around everywhere right now. Title edit for your viewing pleasure.

Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter 5m Bears calling around the league, seeing if they can find a trade partner for DE Julius Peppers, per sources. Trade unlikely... C'mon Lovie!

Uhh ok, just signed him a little bit ago....odd. Dane Noble ‏@WindyCGridiron 4m #Bears cut tight end Dante Rosario, leaves them with @MartysaurusRex and @TheFirst_48 http://sbn.to/1fl7lDi

Brad Biggs ‏@BradBiggs 9m .@DanWiederer reports #Bears closing in on a contract for LB D.J. Williams to return. http://bit.ly/1h7u6by More than likely another vet min deal, or near it. Believe he played for a mill last year, probably gets less after another injury plagued season. Would provide nice competition to Bostic and SMD (Greene as well I suppose). I still expect 2 of those 3 to be the starters. ****EDIT*** Done deal, details later.

I told everyone to "set their DVRs" to watch Michael and Martellus segment on NFL AM...well for those who missed it.... http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-am/0ap200000...lus-and-Michael Man it'd be bearsome (a word MartyB made up) just to see those guys together off the field.

Free Agency Micheal Bennett DE - Don't like it but whatever Tillman McCluster MIKE MITCHELL - S 1. Tim Jernigan - DT 2. Ryan Shaizer - ILB 3. JEAN-Baptiste - FS/CB 4. BRYAN STORK - C

Personally hates the guy. But 12 sacks is 12 sacks
