Alright so let me first say that I hate/never believe people when they say I had a dream about a draft and think its silly. Well last night I did indeed have a dream about our Bears and the key piece of that dream was my boy Jesse Williams. We were in the super bowl, down by 6, inside 2 minutes, and we had the ball 4th and 1 near mid field(against the Broncos FWIW). Using NFLDraftScout's Prospect Rankings, I filtered it for only CB/DT/ILB/WR/OT/OG/C/TE/QB, then figured out who might be available at our current top 3 picks (20, 50, and 117). For the 1st round, I figured +/-10, 2nd round +/-12, and 4th round +/-20. I was assuming this is how far someone could fall and how far we might reach on a pick. Listening to the Score this morning Mully brought up an interesting point. Why is Hester still on the roster? Only a returner paying 2.8 mil, if you trade him you dont have 833,000 in dead cap space. Bragging him up and offering him on draft day for a 5th or 6th rounder? Makes a lot of sense to me. I see a good team taking a flyer on him to put them over the top. He has not been good for the last 1 and 1/2 years but teams still treated him as such by altering there kickoffs. I see that as a possibility.

Till now I have been on board with drafting defense in the first. But with the additions thus far on the line and on defense I have been thinking: 1st Tavon Austin WR 2nd Best corner available My logic is that a Marshall and Jeffery split out and Austin in the slot with Bennett at tight end would give us a group of receivers that would be hard to stop. There are people on this board that will say that weapons are useless with Cutler on his back. I have to have faith that Kromer with the additions the line will improve. They have the picks and the value is good for both teams. One interesting one would be Miami with 42 and 54, would they be willing to do it, and would we be willing to drop 22 slots for #54. We would then have #42, #50, and #54, which actually seems like a really sweet spot in the draft for value vs performance. To me that would almost be like getting 3 new starters, and even possibly 2 OL.

Former 2nd round pick....But PFF gave him a worse rating than Chilo Rachal...Thats bad. Maybe Kromer sees something he can fix.

Bears trade #20 to SF for #31, #74 (Rd3), and #157 (Rd5) so SF can draft Kenny Vaccaro at #20. 2. Not a ton of news...Theres a good chance we draft a QB at some point. There are already teams wanting to trade up with us supposedly. They're still looking at Izzy and others to sign to the roster. They supposedly like Garza at OC. He was disappointed with the arrest of ERod.

Some people in my life think I have intuition, which leads me to being called a psychic, or if I misspelled that( psycho.) I think we trade down with Jacksonville and get 33 and 64 with our first rounder.
