1. Cutler was great. Aside from his pick-6 and first 10 throws, he finished 20-25 with 320 yards and 2 TD's. 2. Maybe I'm over-reacting but I think Alshon Jeffery will get to 1,000 yards this year. 3. Marshall is a beast. Bennett is a nice compliment to everything the offense has. 4. Putting the first few plays to the side, the OL wasn't too bad. Freeney going out helped too, I'm sure. Spencer is clearly the worst OL they have, however. Maybe it's already time to give Williams a try there? 5. Tim Jennings was awesome today. Peppers and Melton were forces. Briggs was fun to watch.

That's right the Packers are in last place in the NFC North after week 1. LOL Gotta enjoy that while it lasts, SF is a tough team though. Who'da thunk the Bears, Lions, and Vikings all are 1-0 and the Packers are 0-1. If we can take one from GB that will be huge and give us a virtual 3 game lead on the media darling Packers. Big game coming up for the Bears and nothing would make me happier than to see the the Bears stomp all over the Packers in their house and give them an 0-2 start and give them their second straight home loss this year!.

I did!!!!!... Not sure if it was the booze or the play. I was pretty nervous with that start of the game... D was ok but damn what a way to start on O... Great turn around tho... Really excited abou this O. The weapons are there!!! Oline just give Forte holes and cutler time and we will be alright!!!!!

I have to say I saw this coming. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...-goal-line.html It may be minor right now, but when we get later in the season and Bush has half as many carries but just as many TDs, expect more rumblings from Forte.

Hey if the 49ers can do it so can we. We will need to run the ball outside the tackles as this seems to be a weakness in the Packers defense.Also throwing the ball to our WR'S Marahsll and Jeffrey will beat the Pack secondary as they cant match up. Moss was not used the correct way by San Fran, but if he was they would have had more points because the Packers were scared of him.Blocking is a must...they Packers front line is a bit slow but the LB'S are fast so if we get the first level blocked and on to the second level then we got something going on the edge. The Packers can be beaten by the Bears this year!!

1. Evan Rodriquez. Did a great job blocking. Didn't look like a rookie. Not sure if we'll miss Clutts if he keeps this up and continues to get better. 2. Kyle Adams. One grab. Big grab. Make the most of your opportunities! 3. Wootten. The Favre killer punched one loose from Luck. One of the lone bright spots in the pass rush. We need more of this Corey! 4. Podlesh. Good kicks. 5. My tailgate party turned into a black out party. No one remembers anything!!!! lol I remember a bunch of the game but do not remember him doing anythin at all. Anyone want to inform me if he did anything???

The last two years the Thursday night NFL Network games have been broadcast locally in the Chicago area (which has extended to Peoria) Pixote asked over the summer about viewing the Thursday night games and I told him it wouldn't be a problem. Checking the local listings the game is not on . . . sorry about that Pix. Any tips for how to view the game? Otherwise I'll be in the garage with the radio checking the computer for video updates and likely chatting here. I do feel for all of you who don't live locally and deal with this problem every week.

I have watched quite a few kickers in my time watching Bears football and since early Butthead (Kevin Butler)this is probably the best kicker in Bears history IMO.The tandem of he and Podlesh are second only to Janikowski and Lechler in Oakland. When It comes to fantasy points Gould is a good consistent point scorer and in leagues where special teams and defense are combined he along with Hester make the Bears D a solid choice.

Last year I bought lemonej3 and lemonej2 whose birthday is 9-27 matching Forte jerseys. I'm thinking matching Marshall jerseys since lemon 2 played wr and stands 6-2, but the jerk grand pa in me says get them opposing cubs and sox jerseys since lemon 2 is a staunch cub fan and lemon 3 is only 3 years old and doesn't reall know the whole deal. I personally root for both teams because I think 2 chances at a World Series is better than 1. So the question is do I repay lemon 2 for some of his situations he put me through by buying lemon 3 a White Sox jersey or do I go with choice one and get them both Marshall jerseys. He is literally awful...

I know this has been talked about many times however, I am so freakin pissed off right now with this defense. I know it is only the 2nd game as well however, it is the freakin cheese heads we are playing. This so called defense continues to give up huge yardage and does not seem to be doing anything positively right now. How else do you explain that last Sunday we make a rookie QB look like a freakin All-Pro and tonight the "D" is getting even more exploited by the QB who has been one of the best in recent memory in the NFL. Yes I did just see Julius Peppers get another sack however, the huge plays will continue to hurt us and we are lucky to be only down 3 with 2:09 …
