How do we gameplan for this week in Denver? I'm thinking the coaches throw Cutler a bone and cut loose some plays that allow him to succeed. I know Denver, it's fans and Orton are going to be jacked up for this game. It's unfortunate that this is not a regular season game, because all eyes are going to continue judging the trade. I have a feeling Hester is going to toast Champ Bailey at least once, as Hester and Cutler have missed some opportunities in the 1st 2 games.

http://theredzone.org/BlogDescription/tabi...ns/Default.aspx Judge: Vikings Williamses must serve four-game suspensions May 6 5/6/2010 10:53:44 AM | More Minnesota Vikings Kevin and Pat Williams must serve four-game suspensions even though the NFL is their employer and violated their rights under state labor laws, Hennepin County Judge Gary Larson ruled Thursday according to Rochelle Olson of the Minneapolis Star Tribune. The players were granted a court hearing at 2 p.m. They will ask Larson to keep in place a restraining order that allows the Williamses to play pending their appeals. Larson presided over a five-day trial in mid-May th…

STATS = http://espn.go.com/college-football/player...justin-blackmon Videos ------------- Would it be worth getting ahead to top10 for this guy? I personally think yes it would. This guy is unbelieveable. Would instantly become best WR on team (not saying much, but not to take away from him). Reminds me of Reggie Wayne and Brandon Marshall hybrid... I want no part of Alshon Jeffry, and Floyd seems like a total risk. Nick Toon, probably not a true #1

Justin Fields x-rays negative. He escaped a season ending injury. Maybe a week for best case scenario.

One tough son of a bitch young man to reveal that. I can't believe how hard that must of been. He must have great control and medical protocols to keep under control. To have never been publicly reveled before. I have no idea how humans respond to or control such a thing. We have a dog that suffers from the same condition. We're happy to go a month and a half with out a seizure. First one came a week after we picked her up from the rescue group. Thought she was dying and we had some how poisoned her. It's a daily battle to try and prevent the next one. But as my wife says she is our forever dog. I only hope for the best for him but his draft stock seems tough…

Wow, that was impressive. Should've been a win. Refs suck. Even with a slow start, he is on pace for over 1275 yards rushing, and is averaging 102 yards a game in his last 4 (once they started actually running). So if he kept up a pace somewhere in between, he would be over 1300 yards for the year. If he kept up the same pace for the remainder of the year, he would break Lamar Jackson's single season rushing record. That is insane. DET, ATL, NYJ, and GB up next.

Awesome analysis of the Bears QB situation and Fields. Also shows how terrible Trubisky and Foles were last year. Worth the time.

I was a little concerned (at first) about Fields' demeanor in the interviews. He seemed sullen, not smiling. I thought "damn maybe he isnt happy here" So I checked out other interviews with him, and found this one after winning the Sugar Bowl with a huge performance. He's the same. Serious, joyless. Kind of intense. If he was a game show host, I wouldn't love it. He might not be selling insurance anytime soon. But he is a tough guy, hard worker, and he seems very serious about everything. Constrast that with Mitch's goofiness, and I am not at all unhappy. I just think, as we watch him, it's good to have some context in which to evaluate his demeanor. Im not…

I always thought Gage could be a prett good receiver if we developed him correctly. I wonder how much of it has to do with coaching and how much with our personnel (O-Line and QB)...

Between last year and now , Poles has changed the offense to be capable of high end production. Adding DJ is easily the biggest move and I rate restructuring of the OL second. I think ever spot on the oline has been upgraded. I expect Jones to be better. Jenkins is an upgrade over Whitehair that didn't have a good year. Whitehair is easily a huge step up from Mustifer. Davis is a top 10 RG in the league. Wright, as a rookie, will be better than Reif last year. WR room: Moore, Mooney, Claypool, V Jones, Tyler Scott , Pettis, ESB. How are the targets going to be distributed ? Ideally Moore has close to 100 catches, Mooney and Claypool both reach 60 catches each, S…

Despite our issues at WR for some reason I still lean toward fixing the CB/S position in Rd 2. That's not to say I wouldn't draft a WR there if the right talent fell to us. Maybe at this point I simply like the DB options in Rd 2 better than the WR options. Looking at WR who will still be on the board in Rd 2-5 I came across Justyn Ross. Physically he's an easy fit to step into ARob's role but he has some serious injury history having had surgery to repair a congenital fusion condition with his neck and spine. He missed all of 2020 for that but returned in 2021 and still played well. I like his skill set and he's a player I'll be tracking as we go through the scouti…

Good news, but expected. He will is an excellent #3 RB, just needs to learn to protect the ball a bit better. http://www.chicagobears.com/news/NewsStory.asp?story_id=8768

http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles/24797...n=chicago-bears Hard to believe that only year two of his career and he's already looking at a 'make or break' situation. So is this the case? (AZ did you get to see him play for the Wildcats?) From what I see, if anyone was expendable, Forte could/should be the one sent packing. Maybe in the form of a trade? In watching some film on he and Langford they quite literally look like the same back. Forte might have a little more of a jukability in the open field but when you compare their videos coming out of college, they are quite literally the same. Or would it be better to keep four? (Forte, Carey, Rodgers and Langfo…

So it looks like the league set up a tryout for Kaepernick on Saturday. Kind of odd, but the Bears need to send someone there just to kick the tires.
