Robbie Gould has been "money" for the Bears most of his career. Now Gould is kicking in some money to assist a local youth football team make a trip for a game in Miami. The American Youth Football Organization national champion Naperville Patriots, a group of 12-, 13- and 14-year-olds, are scheduled to play a team from Texas led by Deion Sanders on the Saturday before the Super Bowl. When anticipated funding from the NFL for hotel rooms in Miami fell through at the last minute, Gould immediately kicked in $20,000 to help defray the unexpected costs for the 27 players and their families. "Robbie said, 'Not a problem, I will take care of it.' I couldn't thank him…

I'm not disecting the details of what's going on, but looking at it as a broad brush stroke. I don't think the Titans had a pass over 20 yards last Sunday. Could it be, we're employing the "bend don't break" philosophy and are actually bending and breaking? I just swear, we're giving up everything in front and nothing in back...and to me that screams "prevent". Which we all know prevents winning...

As we all know or at least are convinced Jerry let the wrong RB go after the 2006 Super Bowl run. Benson didn't pan out in 2007 and ended up injured. The run game was non-existent last year. In 2006 we enjoyed a 1-2 punch of Jones and Benson. IMHO Benson's only good season in chicago. Entering the Draft we had Benson, Wolfe, and AP. Not long after drafting Forte Benson is let go. Leaving us with Forte expected to be the feature back along with AP as backup and Wolfe in spot duty. Then comes the signing of Kevin Jones at a very reasonable one year deal. Let's suppose for a moment that Jones and Forte become a 1-2 punch that's as good or better than the Jone…

No way he's getting picked at #3 now. http://bearswire.usatoday.com/2017/02/01/p...hernia-surgery/ A shoulder AND a hernia? This close to being drafted? Nope. Not at #3. Not after Kevin White.

What are your thoughts on adding him? Had 9.5 sacks last year. With as many holes that need attention I'm wondering if he can be signed without having to break the bank? Mario Williams is reported to be the Texans top priority and the Franchise tag is still an option according to their GM, so maybe Mathis is a good option to add help along the Dline. Im not saying that WR and Oline are not the most pressing needs for the Bears. Thought i should add that before someone jumps me for talking about something other then oline and wr hahaha

I have been reading Bears reporters tweets and it has been stated that they wish to bring back Idonije, Scott, and Louis. That Carmi is figured to be a flexible player G and T. so what does all that tell us? Does the possiblity exist that McCellan goes to LB if they bring back Idonije? Emery stated he could play other positions? If they bring back Scott, I would say he is our RT? With Louis coming back our RG? I suppose that depends on health. Carmi being flexible, does that mean he goes to LG? It has been stated they are looking at 2 FAgent OTs. So if thats the case, whoever it is, that Webb becomes our swing tackle? If all this is true, wh…

Cutler looks totally different dropping back and planting from last few years to this year, even when there is pressure he seems to be more confident. This is only week three, the more reps and more plays that go into the play book this O should only get better. Dumping off to Forte has been great. Take what the D gives us. Im really excited to see where this O goes. With our D we should be in every game, if the O is able to keep getting better this should be awesome to watch. I'm liking what I'm seeing from the Offense, especially with the way they have started. They seem to get off to a good start and then get conservative, then pick it back up in the fourth. …

Well guys after I visited TC last year,I like the experience and want to continue the trend of being able to try and report what I see to you. So here is the plan I will hit TC on Monday Aug 3 my B-day( The Big 50) depending on practice schedule times. I'll keep you posted and I will wear something that will make me easy to recognize. If you plan on being there that day let me know and we can meet and greet. I would feel very guilty if I didn't invite you guys to my Big Five O celebration at my apartment complex at 724 N Villa ave in Villa Park Ill on Sunday Aug 2nd from 12 noon until the 'Ol Man needs a nap. It will be in the courtyard and I have quite a few B…

  13. According to Mike Lombardi, during the 2nd round, the Bears and Cards were in trade talks regarding Boldin, but the Cards backed out. This really shows how committed JA and Lovie are to winning now, and makes me think that they were both given notice that this year is their last shot and if they fail to make the playoffs, their asses would be gone. I wonder if Q and the Cards are still butting heads near the time training camps begin, could we see us send some future draft picks their way for Q? Most likely not gonna happen, but one can only hope.

He seems to have taken it upon himself to be a real team leader. He is working out with the receivers on the team and was the first to introduce himself to Long and spend time with him. I'm really impressed with him taking huge steps to put himself out there for the organizations. He's really proved me wrong an any questions i had about his character.

There has been a lot of chatter about Emery's first draft class and rightly so with only Jeffrey panning out so far. Since then he put together the front office the way he wanted it and at this point here is the result from the last two drafts: http://www.csnchicago.com/bears/wins-still...ears-foundation "On the other hand, all eight 2014 draft choices are among the 11 rookies placed on the 53-man roster. And all six of the 2013 selections were and still are on the roster."

    1. Michael Brockers, DT, LSU ---Great run stuffer. Perfect compliment to the pass rushing Melton. 2. Nick Perry, DE, USC ---With the emergence of Brockers and Jones, some mocks have Perry falling into the mid-2nd. He's a great scheme fit. 3. James Brown, OT, Troy ---A lot of people think he's an NFL OG or LT. 4. Tommy Streeter, WR, Miami ---Lanky WR who is a red zone threat. Reminds me of Plaxico Burress. 5. DaJohn Harris, DT, USC ---Bears add again to their DT rotation after losing Okoye and cutting Adams. 6. Philip Blake, C, Baylor ---Blake is a natural C, but he can compete for an OG spot until Garza loses his job, gets hurt, or retires. 7. Duke…

http://www.prosportsdaily.com/articles/pla...ars-728416.html I for one am good with someone like Burress coming to Chicago. I think it evident in his last attempt at playing in NY wasn't as much to blame on him as much the circus that is known as the NY Jets. Burress would like to give it another go and probably could be had for cheap. And if it doesn't work out, and he signed low, the Bears could dump him after Jeffery is back. http://www.prosportsdaily.com/articles/bea...nse-728370.html And the idea of the team doing no-huddle sounds like a splendid idea. With as much as Jay is effective on the run, it would only highlight his skill set. That and sin…
