Talked Mariotta and Winston. Said he's still very early in his film sessions but from the QB coaches, scouts and other offensive coaches he talked to, there was zero debate that Winston has everything you want to see on the football. Instinctive thrower who anticipates openings very well, tough, all the measureable's, high football IQ, etc. Said all reports are that his work ethic is strong and he's extremely well liked in the lockeroom and considered a good leader. Really only knock is the off the field issues. When talking Marcus, it was basically that he individually has the tools, however, most everyone is scared as to how he'll handle the pro system and can he a…

Shane Ray DE/OLB Seeing Aldon Smith flourish in Fangio's D makes him a favoritefor this pick 2.Denzel Perryman ILB This could be the leader we need on defense. 3.Jamison Crowder WR/KR Grew tired of seeing the kneel down or the tackle before the 20 on kickoffs 4.Donovan Smith OT We need to have some young OL in place for future 6. Anthony Jefferson SS Lets try again! 7 Tyler Heincke QB This may be a fantasy. His height not ideal but he needs a good showing at the combine to be drafted.

read this somewhere and gives some info on Fangio and how it fits. Call it what you will but Fangio's defense is not a straightforward vanilla 3-4. His NT still plays a one gap shade position which actually does fit a guy like Stephen Paea and they can also use Ratliff in that.e role. Fangio plays his other DT as a 3 tech similar to a one gap 4-3 so Sutton is not a waste and Paea and Ratliff can also play that position. If Houston recovers from his injury and starts playing heads up ball again if he can add back 10-15 lbs he can play the RDE spot Justin Smith plays in SF which is where Houston played in Oakland and possibly rotate with Jared Allen there provided Alle…

Was going to post the link but it was a quick blurb. It said the Jets are more than likely going to cut Percy Harvin and that the Bears and Raiders are already early suitors. I hope this is only speculative rumor. Can't see it working out well. He's the true definition of locker room distraction.

Comments out of the Forte camp: Trying to get public opinion on his side if he goes? Why even respond to things like this? They happen all the time.

2012 Stats Bradford - 82.6 QB Rating, 59.5 Comp%, 3702 Yards, 21 TD, 13 INT Cutler - 81.3 QB Rating, 58.8 Comp%, 3033 Yards, 19 TD, 14 INT 2015 Cap Hit: Bradford - $16,580,000 ($3,595,000 dead money) Cutler - $16,500,000 ($19,500,000 dead money) Would you even consider something like this? We get a serviceable QB that at least showed signs of putting it together, except for the injuries. We would get cap flexibility since it is the last year of his contract. We always could cut him later and only take a $3.5 cap hit. If he looks legit, extend his contract and cut the cap hit in half.

So I saw some blurb on NFL Network link (I'm not at home to verify) that the Saints are 'shopping several players including Jimmy Graham". WOW! And as I'm looking at the feed something popped up about the Saints and Seahawks are working a deal as we speak for Graham. NO I DO NOT ENDORSE ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM GOING AFTER GRAHAM!!!! Are there any defensive players worth perusing? EDIT: Wow this moved quick. According to Rappaport the deal is near done. Graham and a 4th to Seattle for Unger (Max I presume?) and a 1st.

  10. They both came in for meetings but have not signed yet...... Are they waiting to see if they can get better deals? I really would like to see Royal sign. Rolle from what his stats look like last year can still be productive so I would be happy with him as well. Pot Roast from everything I have read is wanting too much money, hoping the Bears can make it work with him as it opens up what they can do draft day. Any word on Foster at LB??? With the signing of Pernell does that eliminate Brooks from consideration?

According to Fansided the Bears and Cutler restructured his deal on Tuesday freeing up $5 million in cap space. Spotrac shows his deal with a column called Restructure Bonus. See here for Spotrac: http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/chicago-bears/jay-cutler/ See Fansided article here: http://fansided.com/2015/03/25/chicago-bea...-without-agent/ I think Fansided may be wrong since this is the only place reporting it. Jay restricted his deal LAST YEAR at about this time to do exactly what Fansided is saying is happening now. So, I'm confused unless he's done the same type of restructure two years in a row.

We all keep repeating ourselves on who we would like, he is a list I dont want at 7. Both Qbs keep getting rated high because of the importance of the position, but for me, they are to risky of a pick for a team that needs a star now. Do not want either for our pick at 7. I think the two best edge rushers are going to be Fowler and Beasley, Gregory and Ray will be there at our pick and dont want anything to do with either. I think Shelton and Collins will be good players in the league but both are not a good valve at #7. We need a star in the making at 7 and dont think they fill that bill. I think Trea Wayne will also be to much of a reach at 7, but as…

m.bleacherreport.com/articles/2462860-rising-nfl-stars-to-keep-an-eye-on-in-2015 Yes, it's bleacher report, an no this isn't really a surprise but times are slow so I'll throw it out there. I tend to agree. I know people don't like the PFF stats, but they are there FWIW. I remember a few years back I brought up the pressure productivity stats and people questioned it because a guy named Jerry Hughes was near the top of that list. A lot of people were like who the hell is Jerry Hughes, and that list lost all credibility with Jerry Hughes being on it. 2 years later Jerry Hughes has racked up 19.5 sacks. Those aren't great numbers or anything but still, it sho…

http://nypost.com/2015/07/31/breaking-up-i...andon-marshall/ I saw this similar article in another piece. There was a slightly different angle on it but still the same message. In reading this and in similar stories I've seen on Jay as of late has given me a little different perspective on him and how I hope that will translate to his playability this year. First and foremost I want to reiterate I don't "HATE" Cutler by its true definition. For one I don't know the guy personally so it would be hard for me to personalize it to that degree. In fact I really don't "HATE" him as player. What I do is "Dislike" many of the choices he makes. We all know that h…
