Orton 18-30, 243 yards, 2 TD's Forte 23 carries, 111 yards, 1 TD's, 3 catches, 35 yards, 1 TD Gould- 1/1 on FG Hester- Finally gets a PR for a TD Bears 31-27

Nice work fellas! The guy on the right is a beast! The guy on the left needs to find himself and return to glory! (All pun intended...)

Just said on SportsCenter. This is terrible. The guy doesn't deserve to be in the league. I love Goodell but this move sucks.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,6113581.story Funny how, since he is having problems this yr, he mentions that he is just 1 of 11 on the field during returns. I don't remember him talking about this when he was wanting a contract extension. I bet his agent never said a word about making sure they take care of the other st players as well. Makes you go hmmmmm. Peace

does anybody that watched that game doubt for a minute that las vegas made the call? as time expired on a kickoff return the bolts were lateraling the ball and polamalu tipped one backward lateral and ran it in for a td. the results made no difference in the outcome of the game and only effected the actual score and gambling spread. it was so plain, so obvious (even the field ref called it a td) that the only conclusion in my mind is that gambling/vegas influenced or paid off the review judge. never in my entire life have i see a play reviewed by booth or otherwise after time expired which would not influence the final outcome of the game and certainly reverse a…

http://www.profootballweekly.com/PFW/NFL/N.../wwhi112008.htm “He’s gotten really soft, leaving big cushions and whiffing on most of his tackles,” one team insider said of Vasher. “He at least used to throw his body around and provide some run support. Worse than that, he’s no longer making any plays to speak of (with only one interception).” Another declining defender who was particularly exposed against the Packers is NT Dusty Dvoracek, who we hear could be losing more than a little playing time to Anthony Adams, who many close to the team believe should be on the field a lot more after being inactive is seven of the 10 games this season. Said one daily te…

He blames everything wrong with Hester on the coaching staff. He said you don't take the best weapon ever and try to turn him into something he's not which will obviously make him not so much of a great weapon anymore. He said then said something that I really have never thought about- it went like this: "You guys want a #1 receiver? THEN GO OUT AND SIGN ONE!!!!!!" Thoughts?

http://www.profootballtalk.com/category/rumor-mill/ SOURCE: BROWNS PURSUING COWHER Posted by Mike Florio on November 20, 2008, 5:00 p.m. A source with knowledge of the situation tells us that the Browns have approached former Steelers coach Bill Cowher regarding the possibility of becoming the next coach in Cleveland. Per the source, the Browns are willing to give Cowher a contract worth $8 million to $9 million per year. Presumably, Cowher’s arrival would occur only if G.M. Phil Savage were fired or significantly marginalized. (Maybe Savage can go work for the Bills — or if all else fails he can root for them.) Cowher would want final say over perso…

from cbssportsline.com Sounds like he likes our chances. Thoughts?

INJURY REPORT AND IMPLICATIONS Chicago Bears (5-5) at St. Louis Rams (2-8) By Michael Nudo The Rams MASH unit is teeming with injured players. They will be without Steven Jackson again (Dilip Vishwanat/Getty Images). BEARS OFFENSEcolor> vs. RAMS DEFENSEcolor> Quarterback Kyle Orton (ankle) should be a little closer to full strength. He was very limited in last week’s game in Green Bay. Wide receiver Marty Booker’s knee has kept him out of practices this week. Brandon Lloyd returned to action after a knee injury for last week’s contest and should be more in synch with Orton for the Rams. Wide receiver Brandon Rideau is expected to be signed from th…

Manning will return kicks in St. Louis.

via Biggsy.....Marty booker (knee) ruled out for sunday's game. Let the Bennett era begin!

you can tell it's a week old since they have us picking at 22. http://www.draftcountdown.com/sub/Mock-Draft-A.php Though, Duke Robinson is there, you have to take serious consideration in taking him. Or Taylor Mays would be damn sweet too. I'm not sure we need another raw WR to develop. I have little faith that the Bears can develop any WR. Interesting they have MAUALUGA at 11 and LAURINAITIS at 10. I wouldnt be upset with either of those considering appearent the decline of Url. Here's a crazy idea....sign Max Starks and plug him in at RT and draft Duke to play LG. Beeker and Buenning can battle for RG and loser is the future C when Olin …
