Bearstalk

Three Bears (Urlacher, Hester, Kreutz) on it. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4875954

Everyone is a spectator right now, 9 hours from opening of free agency. One source I trust said: "I expect the Bears to hit it big." source added: "This is it. There is no draft. They have to come out w/ 4 or 5 players. The #Bears will not be outbid. It's in their budget." All I can say is we haven't seen the #Bears, not under Jerry Angelo or anyone else, come out writing checks like that in free agency. So get your popcorn ready for tonight, or set your alarm. This will be interesting to watch. Can you imagine if they don't strike in FA?

He's here tonight and tomorrow which is interesting and I'm sure Jason is happy to see this. I expect somewhere in this trip he'll spend some time with Eddie Jackson. As a player I view him as better in coverage than Amos but not as good at tackling. HHCD had his fair share of coverage lapses too but he's a better playmaker when the ball is in the air. In that sense he always seemed to be more of a FS than SS and Jackson is not leaving that role. If Pagano wants multiple inside-the-numbers coverage options behind his blitz schemes he'll have them with HHCD, Jackson, Skrine, Roquan, Floyd, and Trevathan. What he's looking for in his next contract is hard to gue…

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/...n-thanksgiving/ http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/...ksgiving-night/ We need to beat them. F the Packers and F Favre.

they would play Minny. Miinny would be the third seed since they beat AZ head to head. If, somehow, the Bears make it as a wildcard, they would be the sixth seed. Peace

Did you get someone to tape the games for you this yr? If not, I can do it again - just give me the address. Peace

How f'ing pathetic. We have played three teams with winning records (outside colts) and gotten embarrassed.

https://twitter.com/DickersonESPN Didn't see this coming, but getting younger. Lattimore may be our #3 pick.

Depending on how things are viewed, from the starters and key rotational guys from last year, I think this is where we are at right now, based on filling holes by snap counts (top 20): Daniels > Patrick Peters > Jenkins Ogletree > Morrow Nichols > Jones Gipson > NEED SS Byrd > Pringle Robinson > NEED WR1 DHC > NEED S Ifedi > Borom Dalton > Foles Bush > NEED S/DB Goodwin > St. Brown Goldman > Tonga Mack > Gipson Hicks > Need DT Burns > NEED CB James > NEED TE3 Graham > NEED TE2 Grant > Evans? O'Do…

http://www.chicagobreakingsports.com/2011/...-criticism.html Staff report Nearly a week after the Bears' heartbreaking loss to the Green Bay Packers, Pro-Bowl linebacker Brian Urlacher is still baffled by the criticism of quarterback Jay Cutler by current and former players. Urlacher, appearing Friday morning on the WMVP-AM 1000's "Waddle & Silvy Show," said the shots on Twitter from the likes of the Jacksonville Jaguars' Maurice Jones Drew "pissed" him off. "Anyone who knows Jay and has played with Jay and seen the hits he's taken…

He's a bit one dimentional. I wish we'd pick him up, but he's probably not versatile enough for Martz/Smith. Then again, neither was Manumaleuseless...

Redskins Special-Teams Standout Rejects Contract Offer Posted by Aaron Wilson on April 30, 2009, 12:11 p.m. Washington Redskins reserve linebacker and special-teams ace Khary Campbell has declined the team’s contract offer of a veteran minimum salary and is holding talks with other NFL teams, according to David Elfin of the Washington Times. Per the report, Campbell, who led the Redskins in special-teams tackles over the past three seasons, has made up his mind that he’s not going to accept the offer and will be moving on. “That wasn’t something I was going to accept,” Campbell told the Times. “And they drafted two linebackers. They did what they had to do,…

Bears | Ogunleye, Idonije unlikely to land new deals this season Comment (0) Mon, 18 May 2009 05:40:49 -0700 Vaughn McClure, of the Chicago Tribune, reports Chicago Bears general manager Jerry Angelo sounded somewhat apprehensive when asked about the possibility of rewarding DL Adewale Ogunleye and DL Israel Idonije with new contracts this season. Both players are in contract years. "We did quite a bit last year if memory serves me right," Angelo said. "I think we were unprecedented in terms of all the people we did extensions with so, in part, that made fewer players come up. But those that do well, we'll definitely do what we've always done in the past. I'v…

Looking ahead to this week's matchup against Arizona I think we have a shot to win. It's always hard to say what you have on a team (theirs or ours) after week 1 but I think we matchup better here for one simple reason: Carson Palmer is more Jay Cutler than he is Aaron Rodgers. Despite all the media hype and love of Palmer I've seen him have equally bad games as Cutler, often worse. He can make equally nice throws into coverage too so you just don't know what you'll get. He is a stationary target and that will help our pass rushers quite a bit, especially if we can get some pressure up the middle. Larry Fitzgerald: He's not as quick or as fast as he used to b…

Just wanted to be the first to come up with this one !! Herm Edwards is out !!!

This guy's name never goes away. Sources say he is in touch with the Bears.
