I watched the game against the Seahawks again, and I noticed that there was a LOT of max protect. On a few plays the Bears had 6 or 7 guys in blocking a 4-man rush. Made me think of two things: 1) Did anyone else notice this? 2) Is this something that should be used repeatedly against the Packers?

Let's play devils advocate for a minute, as we've had this argument before regarding T.O. and Brandon Marshall. How could OBJ be different? One thing is, he's still elite. With us having a huge need at WR and being cap tight, we could now get OBJ for 1 mil this year and 13mil the following two. We are getting ready to lose Arob, who can't shake free anyway. OBJ comes out of deep breaks like Tyreek Hill and still has game breaking speed. If he comes in and knows he'll be working with an up and coming Fields, his attitude may become as a mentor. With the off week and injuries I looked at the 2014 draft. Walters has us drafting a CB.DT,then a QB names Fales from SJS. A west coast type QB: accurate, decent arm, some mobilty. Sounds like they got the positions right, the QB sounds interesting.

Why in the living hell is #29 on the field at S? Our Secondary is a disaster. U drafted a guy in the 4th who was a team leader. He can't learn the speed of the NFL watching Ryan Mundy and Adrian Wilson. Let's not bring up y we didn't take a S in the first when the best one was there. But anyway. This defense is a pure disgrace. Look at our LBs..... They make me sick.

I wanted that Aaron Donald kid out of Pitt, has anyone heard or seen anything about him. How has he performed so far. Clearly we all know how well Fuller has played. Thought it would be cool to see how he has done compared to Fuller.

The Chicago Bears rookies, report to training camp next week, July 16. Veterans follow on July 19. This is were the pen and paper dreams unfold into reality and the real excitement begins. There is still some offseason business that needs to be finished by next week, like signing Caleb and Rome, so expect that to be the buzzer to welcome the fans of the start. There will be battles for positions won and lost. A player or two will emerge unexpectedly and some new names mixed in as they get looks at the roster. What will you be watching for as this new era begins?
