  1. So decent shot we lose our rb coach with Bienemy rejoining Reid and Mahomes.

  2. Wow, what a game. The script writers were on point with this one. Make it look desperate, then hit the climax and then the cliffhanger at the end. So much to unpack (no pun intended).

The Bears offensive rankings after 8 games with last season's rankings as a comparison. It is like two different teams. Point Per Game: 26.9 (6th) > 18.2 (28th) Yards Per Game: 378.4 (T-3rd) > 283.5 (32nd) Yards Per Play: 5.9 (T-4th) > 4.5 (32nd) EPA/Play: +0.04 (9th) > -0.13 (26th) Pass Yds Per Game: 234.0 (10th) > 181.5 (31st) Rush Yds Per Game: 144.4 (2nd) > 102.0 (25th) The last time the Bears had an offense that ranked in the top 10 in Pts and Yds was 2013 (2nd in Pts, 8th in Yds). Last season's top 10 scoring teams all had winning records, and 9 out of 10 made the playoffs. The only team tha…

In the Wild Card game, there was a play when the Packers no longer had timeouts and there was an injured player. It was after a long pass where the player was tackled in the field of play. Since the Packers did not have any timeouts there was a 10-second runoff. However, that actually benefitted them because they would've taken the same amount of time to get down the field, get set, then spike the ball. So they basically gained a down by that entire sequence. To me, it should be a 10-second run off AND loss of down because if there was no injury, they would've lost the time and the down. This would only apply to a play where the clock was not stopped the play pr…

Wondering, does anyone know where to get the cheese grater foam hats? Years back I ordered one from somewhere and it turned out to be a scam so I'm a little hesitant. I do want one but need to know if there's a legit place to order one from.

  7. #2 seed playing on short rest against a team that rested their starters this week. Not ideal but here we are. Bears favored by 1.5, same as BUF who is in the road against JAX. PHI and NE favored by 3.5, Rams by 10.

  8. i've seen this coming for some time now. these greedy B;stard owners and corporate NFL are making this sport a pay-per-view item. they enjoy tax benefits from us but that is not enough, they want more. soon, all local games are going to be broadcast on some pay channel with the 'possible' exception of the ability to watch out of conference games just like they did with college football. all playoff games will be PPV. soon you will even have to pay to watch the SB. if something isn't done soon you can kiss watching NFL games over the air in local broadcasts in your area goodbye. below is an email i sent to God-ell and his cronie Anna Isaacson. if you agree with …

  9. Incredible win but sucks for TJ and Trapillo. Both suffered significant injuries. Trapillo tore his patellar tendon and Edward’s broke his fibula. Hope they both have full recoveries. Anyone know what long term prognosis is for that type of injury for Trapillo. He had really been ascending. Presume this might mean he misses a chunk of next year too / impacts his ability to train.

I see where Ian Cunningham is being strongly considered for GM or President of the Falcons. I know that if he becomes GM, we will get two 3rd round compensatory picks. I assume the same would be true if they tab him for President, but Im not sure, so if anyone knows Id love to know: 1) do we still get the picks if he is President and not GM? 2) do we get the first of those picks in this year's draft, and the next one next year? 3) are the picks tradeable? 4) are both the picks tradeable this year? Might be helpful for moving up int he first round for a pass rusher, or in trade for one. Thanks to anyone who knows and can tell me!

Thuney and Byard make 1st Team, Wright makes 2nd team. I thought Dalman had a chance at Center. No one else on defense makes sense as Wright has been bad in coverage but with a lot of turnovers. On offense, Dalman feels like the only real snub considering the packed field at the skill positions. Byard is a free agent, and neither of the Safeties are signed beyond this year.

Jonathan Gannon was really good as a DC, never worked out as a HC. With him now available, do you consider bringing someone like him on in 2026, just keep DA, or promote from within?

Now has 48 receptions for 622 yards and 5 TDs on the season. That is the most for a Bears TE since Kmet's 719 in 2023 (on 73 receptions). In the Super Bowl era, Dikta, Dewveal, Bennett, and Kmet are the only TEs in Bears history to have 650+ receiving yards in a season. Desmond Clark had 626. Loveland is having the 2nd best season in Bears history for a rookie TE, only to Dikta's 1,076 yards and 12 TDs in 1961 (in 14 games which is insane). Loveland also has a +43.2 REC EPA, 3rd to only McBride and Kittle. McBride has 161 targets, Loveland has 69.

  14. It will be interesting to see what Dan Campbell actually does. Will he rest any key starters in what is a meaningless game for DET, who have lost 3 straight, and 4 out of 5? With a chance at the playoffs still on the line, they lost to MIN 23-10 and looked like they didn't care. My hope is DET doesn't risk Week 18 injuries for their core players and the Bears can handily win and put the game out of reach by halftime, then rest their own starters with the game in hand. Bears 30-10. Bears get locked into the #2 Seed with a home playoff game against GB the following weekend. GB would be in MIN having to travel back home, then to CHI for WC Weekend.

Year 2 QB - QBR Tracker Penix - 83.7 QBR - 298 yds, 1 TD, 1 sack, and 21 rushing yards. 319 Total Yards. Lost. Daniels - 55.1 QBR - 233 yds, 1 TD, 3 sacks, and 68 rushing yards. 301 Total Yards. Won. Maye - 39.3 QBR - 287 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT, 4 sacks, and 11 rushing yards. 298 Total Yards. Lost. Nix - 19.2 QBR - 176 yds, 1 TD, 2 INT, 1 sack, and 18 rushing yards + 1 fumble lost. 194 Total Yards. Won. A few things to note, Nix saw the 2nd lowest Pressure Rate of any QB this week at 18.6%, while Daniels saw the 3rd lowest Pressure Rate at 21.6%. Those two QBs had it easy, yet Nix looked really really bad for a QB at home in the 2nd year of the same …

With one week left, this is quite surprising. I know injuries and playing time impacted the numbers, but it has been since Kendall Wright led the team in receiving that the Bears top Receiver had fewer than 750 yards receiving. Moore 49-671-6 Loveland 48-622-5 Odunze 44-661-6 Burden 44-617-2 There is an outside shot that the Bears end up with 4 Receivers with over 50 Receptions and 700 Receiving Yards. The fact that they are so close is really impressive.

Something I've noticed, the last month, is that we have not run any exotic blitzes from our secondary. Also, not seeing twists and stunts, which can also help and hurt the run defense. I remember discussing the value of having CJGJ and Gordon on the field, at the same time, due to their potential versatility. That flamed out about the same time DA stopped implementing CJGJ in the pass rush. Am I onto something?

Obvious connection to Al Harris and if I don't have to see McCloud on the field in the playoffs I'd consider that a blessing. He'd be a coverage upgrade over Stevenson too. He's not likely going anywhere for a single game so does he want to play with a playoff team? Can he play in the slot because CJGJ can't cover anyone? https://www.profootballrumors.com/2025/12/more-on-cowboys-decision-to-cut-trevon-diggs
