At this point, are we already just looking forward to the draft? Bears making stupid penalties, but get bailed out with an EZ interception. That's nice to see. And the OL is giving Hoyer a decent amount of time thus far. Of course, they're still running that "never ran it with Cutler"-offense, which adds a little something to it. Can't say I remember more than one or two naked bootlegs the entire time Cutler has been under center. Now with Hoyer? Once a drive. Go figure.

No matter who the coach is the Jaguars have not lost in Chicago!

The Bears have actually played some decent football in almost every game (not vs DAL) this season. We started the season taking a 14-13 lead into the 4th quarter against Houston, were only down 9-7 at halftime against PHI, went into the 4th at IND down by 6, and shutout the Jaguars for 3 quarters. With all the injuries, we have actually showed some potential. I don't know if you can say the same for Cleveland, who looks destined for 0-16; SF, who even with Kaepernick looks like a 2 win team, and after tonight, you can put the Jets into the "sucks ass" category too. I remember when he first went out they said he had a strained thumb and then recently I heard someone say ligament damage. When is this guy going to be playing again? I don't see us being able to develop any of the talent with Barkley at QB. Peace

Did anyone else see the comments Kyle Long made after the game that his arm was really "f'd up"? I just wonder if he is effectively out for a big bunch of time this season too, not that it really matters as it looks like we will be lucky to win any games anyway. I don't have a good sense of the league overall really; anyone have thoughts on our injuries and how common this amount is in the NFL? It seems like we are really getting hammered this year.

Very surprised there is not a thread on Leonard Floyd's performance last night. I was at work so I have yet to watch the game but I've seen highlights of his play. Both sacks, and even his "hurry" on Rodgers in the 1st quarter were excellent plays. Most impressive was seeing him cross the face of the OT and then fight through the double team right up the middle to take Rodgers down.

As it stands we are the third pick. Philly has two first rounders. Jefferey is healthy now. Are the bears willing to pay 14+ million/year for a receiver that has history of injuries. These are all decent reasons to consider it.

Initial reports indicate that the Bears have hired an outside consultant to evaluate the franchise due to them being extremely unhappy (essentially looking into everything). Not a lot of substance behind who / what / why they hired. Many seem to think Fox and maybe even Pace are truly on the hot seat (presumably everyone would be if this is truly a full organizational review. That said, Hub is speculating that the consultant is more looking at things from a valuation perspective as the family might be getting ready to sell the franchise.
