  2. Thought it might be good to have an official thread, where we can post some videos and quotes that come out, now that he's officially a Bear. Excited to have him and hope he turns into one of the next great Bears LB'ers. Below is a good video clip I saw elsewhere highlighting some of his plays. Below is a clip of a detailed film study on him:

A great analysis of the NFL schedules over at SharpFootballAnalysis.com. Bears have 17th toughest schedule but have the 4th easiest in terms of opposing defenses. This bodes well for our offense, it should really explode this year. Expect some high scoring games. Like the Panthers, the Bears’ offense might be able to capitalize on its early (Week 5) bye. Chicago has the NFL’s second-softest schedule through Week 10. They play five bottom-five teams during that span, although they are favored in just three of those games because the Bears are also viewed as a bottom-five team. Note that Chicago plays the NFL’s fourth-softest schedule of opposing defenses, includin…

While our offense is in it's infancy learning an entirely new playbook, along with numerous new players getting to know each other, the D looks to take another step forward. There aren't many things ever worth noting at this point in the offseason except that this offense is ...different. Consistency on offense will take quite a bit of time but the big play potential already has our defense taking notice. https://chicago.suntimes.com/sports/why-bears-d-is-rallying-around-qb-mitch-trubisky-i-want-to-win-a-championship/ Amukamara... “They’re throwing a lot of different looks at us, and that’s just Nagy’s offense,” he said. “If I was a receiver I would love …

According to Nagy, we're in a "good spot at LG" with Kush and Daniels but we just signed a guy who played for two years in KC but has otherwise bounced around the league. Roster moves: The Bears on Monday officially placed outside linebacker Sam Acho on injured reserve and signed offensive lineman Bryan Witzmann.

Is it me or does it appear the Bears are trying to figure out what life would be like without Jordan Howard on the team? I couldn’t help but notice that once Kyle Long went down with an injury the Bears didn’t elevate another Olman from the practice squad, instead they brought up RB Taquan Mizzel. And not only that but his playing time seems to be increasing, to include him starting in the last game. I somewhat agree with another’s observation that Howard looks like he’s lost interest. And Yes I get that Jordan is needed for games in inclement weather and the like but it doesn’t seem Nagy completely agrees with that notion.

I think TE is a position we could address in the 3rd Rd if the right player is there. Dawson Knox has the athletic talent and size you want at the position but he's raw in his route running and blocking. Plus his team and QB didn't utilize him much so the production isn't there. All of which places him as a late 3rd Rd, or maybe even 4th Rd prospect. I had to watch 3 games to see him get some passes thrown his way but he makes several good catches against Kentucky. It's easy to envision him running the same routes as Trey Burton, or running any route faster than Shaheen. https://thedraftnetwork.com/2019/02/12/2019-nfl-draft-player-profile-dawson-knox/

Well, it looks we will try out another kicker in the preseason. What a name for a kicker! Bears add a new name to kicker competition — and it's an interesting one

We have Howard, Cohen, Davis and Patterson. If we trade Howard on draft day, we in turn will draft a RB. Even if we don't make a trade we are still going to draft a RB, so we go into camp with 4 or 5 plus Nall is still a practice squad nominee. Last year we ran the ball 468 times. As the offense progresses we end up with more overall plays so I will leave this number about the same. HOWARD or draft pick-- 200 Carrie's Cohen had 117 last year, so we give him 100 Davis-- 100 Patterson-- 40 Trubisky had 67 last year, but let's say 40 this year. Nagy likes to mix it up so I think it will not be a load type of back anymore. I think D…

Here we go. We need to go into the bye at 4-1 or 5-0. The next 11 are tough. I am hoping 6-5 in that set, but 5-6 looks more realistic. Back to back Thursday Night games are in interesting. The Cowboys will also be coming off a Thanksgiving game like us and traveling to Chicago. We will be coming home from Detroit. So I think we have the edge there. The only back to back away games are Week 2 and 3 with Week 3 being a MNF game against Washington. That gives us an extra day of rest which helps on the back to back away games. Week 1: Green Bay Packers (NFL Kickoff Game) - W (after last year, I can't see us losing this game, HHCD Revenge Game) Week 2: at Denver Br…
