Well there are areas of the game to pick at but several positives. 1. NFC North Champs 2. Clinched a Playoff spot 3. Hester with the Record in record time 4. Big win 40-14 a 26 point win should have been 33 point win but I'll take it. 5. We walk away healthy. 6. We may have put Favre away for good.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...e-to-host-game/ Vikings hint that TCF Bank Stadium may not be able to host game Posted by Mike Florio on December 15, 2010, 5:06 PM EST With the Metrodome ruled out for Monday, TCF Bank Stadium officially looks to be questionable. In a carefully-crafted statement, the Vikings have made it clear that the regular-season home finale against the Bears may not be played in the team’s current home state. “NFL officials are touring TCF Bank Stadium to ensure its safety for our fans and its ability to meet the primary technical requirements for an NFL game,” the statement reads. “Ultimately the decision to relocate …

In the six games since the bye week Olsen has the following stats: 23 targets 13 catches 120 yards 3 TDs And it appears to be getting worse. In the last three games? 3 targets 3 catches Martz is severely underutilizing a dangerous pass-catching TE. And we all called it at the beginning of the year. I was hoping it wouldn't happen, but it appears that the trend continues.

Report: Bears-Vikings heading outdoors Posted by Mike Florio on December 14, 2010, 8:25 PM EST Though Bud Grant may not be coming out of retirement, tolerating the bone-chilling cold like an animal who has white hair not just on his head but all over his body, the Vikings will play a home game outdoors for the first time since December 20, 1981. (They lost to the Chiefs that day, 10-6, at the old Metropolitan Stadium.) Cory Roufs of 1500ESPN.com reports that the Vikings are moving forward with plans to host the Bears at TCF Bank Stadium, the home of the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers. Per Roufs, the roof at the Metrodome can’t be repaired by Monday,…

With a win and a GB loss at New England we win the Division. If this doesn't happen, we will more than likely miss the playoffs. What a crazy year.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...-end-of-streak/ Favre tries to profit from end of streak Posted by Mike Florio on December 13, 2010, 7:30 PM EST Apparently, a salary of $16 million for 2010 isn’t enough. Not long after Vikings quarterback Brett Favre was placed on the inactive list for Monday night’s game against the Giants, Favre’s official web site began selling a signed football commemorating his 297-game streak of starts. For the low, low price of $499.99. “One of the most historic streaks ever in all of sports has come to an end,” the message reads on Favre’s site. “The NFL’s own Ironman Brett Favre has ended his consecutive star…
