I'm not really sure there's much else to say. Apart form the dazzling show that Hester put on to tie the record. Seriously, he deserves major props for his efforts this year on returns. Everyone else on this team needs to check their heart and watch game film of Payton. Including our dipsh#t coaching staff and mangement. Every last one involved in this team... This team is gutless. Heartless. And stupid. Has the clock struck twelve? I think so...

Again, I was in attendance: 1. I don't think Cutler played as poor as people think. When he had more than 2 seconds to throw, he was hitting open receivers and even making a couple plays with his feet. 2. Time to keep Hester on punts and punts only. Aromashodu can play WR at the same level that Hester can, and Bennett is pretty decent the more and more I watch him. 3. The Bears OL is made up of an aging Hawaiian, a 5th round (IIRC) from Tennessee Tech, a guy who has played every position on the OL since being drafted a few years back due to ineptitude and injuries, a guy who shouldn't be on any team's practice squad, and a 7th round doufus. No wonder they s…

This reminds me of when Griese killed the Bears a few years ago. This Cover-2 shit is just not a good defensive scheme if the opponent has a patient QB who is willing to chuck the ball for 7 yards at a time. It's the same thing that happened in the Super Bowl. Eventually, the DBs are naturally going to step in a bit, wanting to stop the quick passes and perpetual first downs. And then what happens? The deep outs and the seam passes are open. This defensive scheme just sucks. I hate its passive nature, and the way it can turn stud players into average players.

The guy can't block. The guy can't read a defense. What the hell can he do well?

Guys with whistles are being termed "flexible." I think a better word is desperate. Slap 'em on the back if you want, but all I see is the rearranging of deck chairs on the Titanic that is the Bears' offensive line. The nine fir…

Read the excerpt(s) from the article.... "If Chris Williams makes that transition to guard beginning Sunday against the Seahawks, he will follow in the footsteps of players such as Robert Gallery, Leonard Davis, Mike Williams and Chester Pitts. Others, such as Daryn Colledge of the Packers, were moved immediately from tackle to guard when they became pros. The Packers have experimented with Bryan Bulaga, their first round pick this year, playing guard as well as tackle." If Williams is incapable of playing left tackle in the NFL, nobody knows it yet as he has had only seven starts. If you want to give up on Williams now, you probably also would have given u…

I had a scary thought today... Green Bay GB is decimated with injuries, currently 3-2, and has the following left: MIA, MIN, NYJ, DAL, MIN, ATL, SF, DET, NE, NYG, CHI That's 8 tough games left, without even counting a dangerous Dallas team, an improving Detroit team, and an underperforming SF team. GB could feasibly finish with 4 or 5 more losses, easily, and finish just on the outside of a wild card birth. Minnesota Sitting at 1-3 with the following left: DAL, GB, NE, ARI, CHI, GB, WAS, NYG, CHI, PHI, DET That's 8 tough games for them as well. And since Fartve isn't having a miracle year like last year, they will probably do worse than GB. …

Have been reading around and hearing about some folks that "could" fit into the Bears plans. Nothing solid mind you just rumors. Names on the list: Berrian ( ), Carolina's Steve Smith ( ), NE's Logan Mankins ( ) , Alphonso Boone (this one actually is more true than not) and I even heard someone mention Jeff Garcia ( Any others out there? And I have a new candidate for Head Coach for those that are not fans of Lovie's. At the very least watch the video when you start second guess how the season is going.

So this question's been raised in the sports media, and I thought it'd be interesting to hash it out here. Chris Williams is (hopefully) going to come back from his hamstring in the next week or two. He struggled a bit before his injury, but that's a pretty small sample size, and he was solid at LT last year. I have to assume that he'll get his job back on the left side once he's healthy. That raises the question, though - what do we do with Omiyale? Here are my thoughts. Big Frank hasn't played badly on the left side, but he certainly hasn't been outstanding. However, he really played pretty poorly on the right side before the switch. He wasn't great in pass …
