I was trying to find what Nickel CBs make. Moore from Colts is the highest paid nickel at 10 mil a year from what I can find. Signed in 2024 So how much will Gordon get? 4 year 45 Mil extension,24 mil guarantee? He is signed threw 2025 Anyone have any input into this?

2 hours until we should start getting alerts from the usual suspects on social media. Last year Swift's deal was announced exactly at 11am. So I assume the Bears first deal will come in that initial madness. With 2x larger deals handed out to Thuney and Jackson already, they may go for a lesser Center upgrade than Dalman. From a money allocation standpoint, I think they may go Edge and DT with the last "bigger" deal. Then address the other positions of need in the 2nd wave.

So I keep looking at everything I can regarding draft options at #10 and I’m having a hard time. Let me know where I’m wrong: -At Edge, you have guys with horrible sack production like Mykal Williams (who just ran a 4.8 40 at his pro day - no thanks) and Shemar Sanders (4.5 sacks total in 3 years), then guys with decent production who seem too light for 4-3 end like Mike Green and Jalon Walker (who’s probably a LB anyway). DT - Mason Graham maybe if he’s there but he probably won’t be and I don’t think Grant/Harmon/Nolen are worth the pick at #10. How do you quantify how much of an upgrade the new acquisitions on the OLine will be? Rondale Moore and Mecole Hardman visited the Bears today. I really would love a short term deal for Moore. 24 with tons of speed - coming off injury and I think in right role could thrive as a slot / take the top off guy with some gadget and special teams thrown together. Both players are speed guys. Moore was like 4.33 coming out - injuries have been a big issue with him and he missed all of last year.

I know they picked the Bears last year because of Caleb's rookie year, but this year would've been so much better to see Johnson at work with his new staff and the revamped roster.

It is interesting looking at the mock drafts this year as the Bears have no real consensus player pick like in previous years. However, OL is selected in over 50% of the picks. OL, Edge, and RB are the 3 highest position groups. About 56% is OL, 19% Edge, 18% RB, and DT at 7%. Who is your sleeper pick at #10? Who is no one talking about, but could be a selection at #10? I am going to say Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss. He is ranked between 13-32 in pretty much every mock but to me, seems a little underrated. Why Nolen? He is the most physically gifted DT, had high production, and graded out as one of the best DTs in 2024. He also fits Dennis Allen's scheme and is an ideal size for a 3T. He could also be a trade-down option if the Bears stay in the teens. What are your thoughts?

Anytime, football season, I'm working or doing anything around the house I listen to the score. In Rockford it comes in much better than ESPN.
