Ill try to be as accruate as i can, One top level NFL guy said he would be willing to bet that BM is a Bears by training camp. Also was stated by a different NFL guy that Denver will try everything in their power to not let BM go to the Bears because of fear how good that would make Cutler look, making the Cutler trade look bad upon the Denver front office Coming out of the Pepper camp is that he likes the Bears. Only road block would be Washington getting invloved, cuz they will drive the price up. I wonder if the Bears make a play for Peppers knowing that he could play in a 3-4, just in case the Lovie camp does not turn this around. Nothing men…

http://www.theredzone.org/BlogDescription/...s-/Default.aspx Brandon Marshall to the Bears? Mar 3 3/3/2010 10:57:49 AM | More Neil Hayes of the Chicago Sun-Times reports rumors persist that Angelo's comments about wide receiver not being a ''need'' position are a smoke screen. It's all about giving quarterback Jay Cutler what he needs to thrive, which is why one NFL source wagered a steak dinner on Marshall being in a Bears uniform when camp opens. ------------------------------------------ http://www.theredzone.org/BlogDescription/...ts/Default.aspx Bears could trade Olsen to Cardinals or Patriots Mar 3 3/3/2010 11:15:51 A…

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,6125465.story He's 6-2 TE and almost 300 pounds. Wow. I like this idea of basically having a 3rd OG on the field. Since Turner became the OC, I've wanted us to get a "bowling ball" type player to clear the way for our RB. My only concern is I hope we have a plan for Olsen. The obvious solution is to utilize him as a 3rd WR. I also wonder if we'd look to get rid of Dez Clark.

http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/jets/jets_a...LPbOr7uPJ4GY3LI Pretty good article about how once again Thomas Jones is getting another raw deal. I would be more than OK if the Bears wanted to bring back Jones to finish out his career. He easily has another decent 3-4 years in him. They guy has only rushed for at least 1,000 yards the last 5 years (to include his last 2 for Chicago). Jones is one of those consummate professionals who I really never understood his being released from Chicago, especially since the Benson experiment never worked out.

http://www.chicagobears.com/news/NewsStory.asp?story_id=6582 Smith lauds depth, young talent at wide receiver position By: Larry Mayer | Last Updated: 2/26/2010 6:18 PM INDIANAPOLIS – Coach Lovie Smith is excited about the continued development of the Bears’ young wide receivers and believes that they’ll thrive in new coordinator Mike Martz’s system. While some considered the position a weak link prior to the 2009 season, Devin Hester, Earl Bennett, Johnny Knox, Devin Aromashodu and Rashied Davis combined to catch 185 passes for 2,334 yards. It was the highest output by Bears receivers since they had 192 receptions in 2002 and 2,363 yards in 2001. …

Again, I'm really appreciative for the concern of all of you here. Fortunately for me and my family we had little damage to the house--a few broke things-and we are all safe and now have elctricity, gas and water. There still are many here, just around the block as a matter of fact, that do not have electricity yet. My work at the university has been suspended pending an evaluation of the infrastructure and the arrival of electricity there. Santiago is about 200 miles north of the epicenter and mostly very old buildings, many historical sites and the very newer ones--mostly lower income housing--suffered the most damage here. Down south, though, between the earthquak…

"I would love to play in Chicago; I would love to play anywhere," Westbrook said on "The Waddle & Silvy Show on ESPN 1000. "They have a pretty good quarterback there [in Jay Cutler]; great defense. http://theredzone.org/BlogDescription/tabi...or/Default.aspx Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports the Bears are believed to be interested in running back Chester Taylor and he could come in and compete with Matt Forte for the starting job. "This past year we weren't as pleased as we would like to be with our running back situation," coach Lovie Smith said last week at the scouting combine. "Yeah, we'll look at everyone that is available." Chester Taylor is a valuable commodity as a complement to Peterson, and he will be an unrestricted free agent if he doesn't re-sign with Minnesota before 11:01 p.m. Thursday. I know its risky, but im saying …

http://blogs.suntimes.com/bears/2010/02/wh...viate_from.html I keep hearing this but I haven't believed it. The one thing this article mentions is that Lovie & JA must win NOW. Cap question: I'm assuming the Bears aren't going to spend more then they would normally. In other words, if the cap would have been around 120 million, we'll likely spend around 120 million. I can't see JA given an unlimited amount of money to spend. That being said, how much do the Bears have to spend based on what the cap likely would have been?

http://www.chicagobears.com/news/ChalkTalk...p?story_id=6571 February 23, 2010 Wondering about a player, a past game or another issue involving the Bears? Senior writer Larry Mayer answers a variety of email questions from fans every day on ChicagoBears.com. Do you think the Bears will play Frank Omiyale at guard or tackle this season? Ryan T. Lemont, Illinois I think that depends on what the Bears do in free agency and the draft to upgrade their offensive line. If they sign or draft a tackle who can contribute this season, I could see Frank Omiyale remaining at guard. But if they bolster their line with an inside player, I think Omiyale could play…
