What are the cap ramifications of cutting Bush after the game? Dude sucks. No power, no vision, no purpose. Cut him please.

With Ben Jarvus Green-Ellis signing with Cinci it is another option for Bush gone.

So here it is: Bears get: Jay Cutler, Johnny Knox - WR Broncos get: Kyle Orton, Robert Ayers - DE, Richard Quinn - TE (for picks #79 & #84), Alphonso Smith - CB (for 1st Round pick in 2010) Steelers get: Kraig Urbik - OL, Mike Wallace - WR (both picks for pick #64) Seahawks get: Bears #1 pick in 2010 (for pick #37) It seems that Denver had a chance to come out pretty good with the original trade. However, trading away a first rounder for A. Smith was a pretty big reach. Then trading picks #79 and #84 to grab Quinn was also pretty questionable. Seattle and Pittsburgh both made out pretty good.

The spokesman for the league Greg Aiello released a statement condenming the flood of media leaks about signings and has threatened to investigate thses leaks. Really! Your league is over taking 2 leagues currently in season and one in preseason for buzz with March Madness on the horizon and you're going to investigate what? This was nothing more than rhetoric.

Now that we have Cutler and a few Oline players what do we need? Well I for one think that we need a big fast WR to throw to, someone in the mold of Burress. Not necessariliary Burress himself but maybe a guy like Kelly, Robiske in the draft to take some heat off of Hester. Cutler said that he is going to make Bennett better this year since they have played together and Williams will be blocking for him also. But what I really want to see is Turner throwing out his old playbook and get a grip to what his team can really do, and make plays for those down and distance calls. Drafting James Daniels/OC with #22 seems like a reach. Not cutting Cooper. Otherwise, like the overall picture.

I can't believe we have played the toughest schedule in the last 5 years. Not much media talking about it. Bears signed Southern Illinois QB Nick Hill and Western Kentucky WR Curtis Hamilton. The Bills told Hill they'd take him with the No. 251 pick, but at the last minute went with CB Kennard Cox. Hill is a top-notch athlete and was an accurate passer at SIU. This is an ideal landing spot for the southpaw.

All eight kickers are at the mini-camp this weekend. Nagy had an impromptu competition at the end of the day giving each kicker one chance to make a 43-yard FG (the significance should be lost on no one). Six missed (including one doink!). Two made it - John Baron and Spencer Evans. Nagy's assessment: "Not good enough." So Iv'e been thinking a lot about this FA offseason and made comments on how I would do things differently. Seems it was unpopular as an opinion. So, I'm having my coffee and thinking out loud. Here's my position by position thoughts on where we are. QB, IMO is more than good. I was OK with McCown and Enderle as backups. That being said, I feel better about QB than EVER. QB is definately upgraded, with a sidenote of cost. WR was a huge position of need. I am more than happy with Marshall. Cutler is putting his clout to work with team and I really trust him if he vouches for someone. I'd be awesome to see Knox as the speed compliment to Marshall, but I don't see …
