  1. Here is what I would like to happen in the draft.(not necessary what I think will happen) At 19-we trade down with Houston to 26 and get there 4th(4) and 5th(161). At 26-we pick Perry/DE logic-Houston wants a WR and Wright is still there at 19 and he played at Baylor. at 50- we pick Massie/LT fills a need and could become a starter if Webb fails later in year. at 79-we pick T. Johnson/CB- big with the potenial to start in first year. at 99-we pick A. J. Jenkins/WR- adds to our depth with speed and production. at 111-we pick Jaye Howard/DT- a rotation guy takes Okoyes place. at 150-we pick A. Allen/SS-depth with size and production at 161-we pick Mann…

  2. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1056430...-in-nfl-history 50 Worst Draft Picks in NFL History By Vincent Frank(Featured Columnist) 41. Amobi Okoye, DL, Houston Texans Draft Pick: 10th overall in 2007 NFL draft from Louisville Career Statistics: 59 starts, 15.5 sacks and 165 tackles A lot of draft pundits were shocked when the Houston Texans spent the 10th overall pick of the 2007 NFL draft on this 19-year-old Nigerian, who was considered a physical beast but extremely raw. It isn't that Okoye didn't play decently in four seasons with the Houston Texans; it was more about the fact that he failed to grasp the nuances of the game a…

I would surely take a look at the ones listed below becuase they can fill a need for us. Chris Greenwood, CB Albion The 6' 1 1/2" 193lbs CB prospect from Albion impressed scouts at his Pro Day with his amazing athleticism. He ran his forty yard dash timed at 4.34s. He continued his athletic display by posting an 11'2" broad jump and an amazing 43" vertical jump. He impressed every scout there but reported really drew the eyes of the Steelers scouts that were present. Korey Toomer OLB Idaho- Measuring 6'2" 236lbs Toomer put in an great performance for the scouts in attendance. He ran his forty yard dash in 4.49s, completed 20 reps at 225lbs in the bench. H…

  6. Obviously we all hope he has better talent evalution skills for first round talent. But that's not my #1 hope for Phil. You all know I've been harping about the O Line for ages and I'm assuming we'll address it better than JA did in his years at the helm. But no, that's not it either. As far as my biggest hope for a difference from JA, I'd have to say I'd want better luck at avoiding injury-prone guys. I don't know if it was just JA taking flyers on guys with known injury issues or bad health histories, or just bad luck. So there you have it... Draft guys who will actually play some football for us. Sounds pretty basic.

Our number one pick was asked if chasing chickens on the farm compares to chasing NFL quarterbacks. And his answer was"Well, you have to have agility to chase chickens," he said, "so I guess it's similar." I just hope he makes chickens out of Rodgers and Stafford and the rest of the QB'S we face this year. The man was chasing chickens......thats hard!!. But there is a high school team down in Florida that does their training by running after rabbits. Now you're ass has got to be fast to catch a rabbit!

Just read on NFL.com what we all suspected, and hoped for, that the Bears are going to change Hester's role in the offense and he will be basically a #4 WR to come in on certain situations, packages. Here is a link to the article: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d828c..._headline_stack

Its nice to think a national writer has us ranked that high. Elliot Harrison of NFL.com has us ranked 5th. I think that might be a little high, even with the amount of Kool aid I drink every year.

Start with the Oline, Carmi remains an injury problem, Webb doesnt take a step forward. Forte holds out until the season starts and starts slow. Cutler, because of the Oline, doesnt get time to take advantage of the WRs he was given. Marshall ends up being suspended for 4 games. We still dont have a pass rush. The DBs suffer because of no pass rush. Urlacher has nagging injuries that keeps him out of games. With all negitive things (and all wont occure) we finish 7-9, 8-8 and Lovie keeps his job for one more year.

This has to be a clear cut sign that Williams is playing at LT, right? I mean, there's no way he could be worse than Webb; so if there is competition, true competition, Williams has it. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,3935877.story Williams - Spencer - Garza - Louis - Carimi That is better than last season, but it sure as heck would have been nice to have more done.

On NFL.com they posted a great video in celebration of Payton's Birthday, one many of us have seen before, but what a great video to watch, unbelievable and worth a few minutes of your time.
