at 50 if we don't have a LB prospect or DT prospect that is a good fit and a QB prospect is there I would pull the trigger especially if it Geno Smith. Getting him at 50 is great value and insurance for another Cutler injury. I'm not 100% comfortable with Mc Cown and Blanchard as 2 and 3. I want a QB in this draft but just like passing on Floyd and Ogletree in rd 1 passing on a Barkley and Smith at 50 is the same.

  2. Good: 6'7 313 said to be a freak athlete, great size, speed and quickness Football pedigree, should have a pretty good handle on what it takes to have a long NFL career Very little wear on the tires due to only playing one year in Division 1 football Emery said he was the best OL at the Senior bowl, had a great week Tony Wise = says he should be a LT, if he fails at LT we will be a great RT....Wise worked with him as a favor to his dad For what its worth, Howie says he is the best athlete out of him and all his kids. Potential to get better is huge No injury concerns like past first round OL drafted, holy shit!! Bad an…

  4. Rodgers deal with Packers is five years, $110 million, highest salary in NFL history. Rodgers average of $22 million tops the $20.1 million the $20.1 million Ravens' Joe Flacco received earlier this year. https://twitter.com/TomSilverstein The Packers now have $35 million/yr tied to 2 players (Rodgers/Matthews) for the next 5 years. They take up almost 30% of their cap space, and will take up over 25% of the cap space for the next 5 years (assuming the cap rises).

So Bostic over Brown, another OL, and Taylor and Allen. I don't mind Bostic, I just didn't think he would go that high either.

Was just on NFL Network segment, totally nuts. They are by far and away the worst draft so far.. "The top 3 picks, they were all there on our Board in the 20s" HA!

20: Kyle Long After looking at the board 21-49, there were no OT or OG that were rated higher than him. Only guy close was Warford. I don't buy he was the Target at 20, I think they couldn't find a viable trade buddy. Probably cuz Dolphins established that the draft value chart was to be ignored this year. I was hoping wed trade down, but whatever, or take Sharrif. One thing you cant argue is his bloodline. Chris Long took a while, but now hes great, so hey. Good luck to him. 50: Jon Bostic I like Bostic alot, however I was gonna lose my mind when my childhood hero Neal anderson announced the Bears drafted Arthur Brown. A ton of LBs went before Brown o…

Since were taking player projects that are athletic, I see Denard Robinson in our future, probably 5th round.

All their picks filled a need and will contribute immediately. After a couple of trades, GB …

  16. Nice pick by Emery, surprised he fell that far. Some nice competition and depth at LB this year, and we just got a lot younger and faster.

I like how Emery is filling out this roster. He didn't bite on restructuring veterans to make more cap space. He is following a plan even though us as fans want the right now satisfaction. By this time next year, we will have at least 7 picks to load up and our cap situation should be healthy were we can continue to add or sign our own. LB is a position we were in desperate need of. Williams and Anderson are on one year contracts and Briggs is getting up there in age. I called for Ogletree/Brown in my last mock, we couldve went that route. I am actually more pleased getting Long and two guys that were not much of a dropoff. Here's to hoping Emerys vision has some succe…
