Are you a diehard Chicago Bears fan? If so, you've found the spot to discuss all things Chicago Bears. Discuss the Monster of the Midway right here as the Bears look to get back on track in 2024 and take the North and never give it back! Flaming is not allowed and all such posts will be deleted. Try to keep it clean and most importantly BEAR DOWN! #BEARS #CHICAGOBEARS #BEARDOWN

  1. Can you imagine what coud have been had we not taken CB in the draft? We could have kept Jones, had AP as a backup, used the 2nd round pick we used on Forte on Oline, Dline, or LB, and had a good laugh! Now, I love Forte, but the Cedric pick was a huge mistake in retrospect and the loss of TJ completely unnecessary.... WAS THIS ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF A PLAYER NOT BEING ON THE LS ASS-LICKER LIST? I am not sure of this issue whatsoever, but I really wonder how some of these players have gone on to prove themselves elsewhere after being exiled from Chicago.

So I'm sitting here watching CTL (which is a stupid show as David Kaplan is an a**hole) and of course Kaplan wants the Bears to go out and get a huge named WR, just like he wanted Favre. Well, they brought up Chad Johnson. Originally, Cincy turned down two 1st rounders from the Redskins, and I bet they would do that now in a heartbeat. However, now he might be only worth a 2nd and a 4th. Would you make a trade for Chad Johnson? What would you give up for him, if you previously answered yes?

  3. at least. Fractured shoulder blade. 2-6 weeks. This 'could' help the playoff cause. "Sean Jensen, of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, reports Minnesota Vikings DT Pat Williams (shoulder) will miss two to six weeks with a fractured scapula, according to head coach Brad Childress. "

14-0 Minnesota already after a 82 yard punt return for a TD and a 40 yard TD catch- both by Berrian. Go to hell, Arizona.

I have been a proponent of this idea for quite some time. I'm all about winning over looking good. I wouldn't mind a Super Bowl win with a team of "bad guys". With that said, the Bears should go after TO. The Cowboys are in turmoil. TO is causing trouble (what's new?). And you know J.Jones is itching to do something to "fix" the team. I know he just signed a big deal, but he's as legit a #1 WR as there is in the NFL. You want a #1? Are you serious about it? Well, there you have it. He's a player who might be had for the right price. Suppose it's a first rounder and another pick in a future draft. Do you pull the trigger? How much do you r…

1 - Anthony Adams is much, much better than Dusty. Next yr, he should be starting. 2 - Manning is playing much better at nickle now that he is the kick returner. Maybe he needed some success on the field to give him confidence on defense. 3 - We need an actual free safety. Brown and Payne are both SS. 4 - Lloyd made a nice catch but also made a crucial drop. He needs to go. We need 2 to 3 new wrs in the rotation next yr. 5 - Robbie Gould is worth every penny he is paid. He set a Bears record yesterday with 3 consecutive 100 point seasons. 6 - Keep throwing the deep ball to Hester. Alot more goog can happen than bad. 7 - Alex Brown loves those back …

  9. Noots’ Notes-Game 14: 27-24 Win over New Orleans in OT By Michael Nudo The Bears (8-6) got out to a 21-7 halftime lead on the strength of Danieal Manning’s 83-yard opening kickoff return for a touchdown. There were few style points in the victory, as they frittered away the lead in the second half, and needed to kick a field goal to tie and eventually win in overtime. Moving forward to stay in the playoff hunt (AP Photo/Gerald Herbert). OFFENSE Quarterback Kyle Orton (24-40-172, 2 INT, 4/6, TD, Fumble) didn’t have a particularly good game, but did just enough when needed to lead the team to the win. One of his interceptions was thrown directly…

  10. First of all don't get me wrong. I am thrilled we are still in the playoff picture, and savor a close win against the number 1 offense in the league, but... We need to fire both turner and babich after this season. I mean c'mon 4 minutes in regulation, you're up by 4 and 3 straight passes??? Even a 8 year old playing madden with this team would run the damn ball under those circumstances. Then there's ole babich. I think the announcers collinsworth and the other dude said it best before the game, and I quote... Same faces from the dominant defense we had a few years ago went on to say urlacher, brown, ogun, brown, briggs, and tillman, but we are not dominating the …

First the call the fake punt catch by Peterson and then the no call on the absolute mugging of Olson at the end of the game. Glad we won but this game should have never gone to overtime. Peace

I'm sick of his BS. He can't run the right routes... He can't return kicks... And now he can't even field a friggen punt! He's a guy who got the big check and started to play it safe. He's a pussy! I say bench his ass for a few games until he gets his head straight. I know we don't have anything else, really, at WR, but I'm sick of Hester's lack of production. He's got no heart.

The OC is horrible. He doesn't have a clue how to call a game and take advantage of the opponent's weakness. And he sure as hell doesn't have a clue how to use his players to maximize their talents. The QB is bad. He doesn't seem to understand how to read defenses, and he can't throw the long ball. The WRs are bad. Drops and bad routes. The OL is bad. The don't open gaping holes for the running game, yet they don't pass block great either. Perplexing. The TEs and RBs are about the only thing worthwhile. Chuck it all.

Hester is the only Bear leading his position in Pro Bowl balloting. I understand this game is a huge joke, but come on. Briggs and Gould are the only 2 that deserve to go, and MAYBE Forte.

With the win over the Saints it all boils down to two. The last two games we win then we are in if we get two losses by the Vikings. We play the Packers at home and the Texans on the road. The Vikings play the Cardinals on the road, and the Falcons & Giants at home. Also we can get in as a wild card if we win our last two games and get the Cowboys and Falcons to lose two games and the Eagles and Redskins to lose one of their remain games. The Cowboys play The Giants, the Ravens & the Eagles. The Falcons play Tampa Bay, the Vikings & the Rams The Redskins play the Bengals, the Eagles and the 49ers. The Eagles play the Browns the…
