Bears placed RB Garrett Wolfe on injured reserve with a torn hamstring, ending his season. They signed LB Gilbert Gardner. Gardner joins old Purdue pal Kyle Orton in Chicago. He knows the Tampa 2, having played in Detroit and Indianapolis previously,

Quick look at Bears-Packers Dan Pompei's look: The last time the Packers played the Bears, it marked the low point of the Bears' season. The Bears struggled against the run and the pass, and the Packers had success in all phases of their game in a 37-3 victory. Since then, the Packers have lost three straight and basically played themselves out of playoff contention. They are a beaten-up team, having lost right tackle Mark Tauscher, middle linebacker Nick Barnett, defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins, safety Atari Bigby and others to injury. The Bears still could have problems with the Packers' explosive offense, but they should be able to capitalize on the Packers' def…

My oh My I am in love again. I just saw G Sayers on NFL Total Access.......... Alright, get your mind out of the gutter......... I love the coat he is wearing. I do not think I have seen the Bears coat he is wearing before. I have seen similar ones, of course, but not the exact version he is wearing. Does anyone know where it might be available for purchase (assuming you saw Sayers on the show before the game tonight)? I am too lazy to go surfing the net.

Trade our 2010 1st rounder and our 2009 4th rounder to Arizona for Anquan Boldin. We, then, give him a 5 year, $52 million deal. 1. Duke Robinson, OG, Oklahoma 2. Tyson Jackson, DE, LSU 3. Sam Young, OT, Notre Dame 3. (Comp. for Berrian) Patrick Chung, SS, Oregon 5. Drew Willy, QB, Buffalo Thoughts?

Don't look now, but even if we don't win the division, there's only 3 teams ahead of us and 2 wildcard slots. Tampa, Atlanta, & Dallas. And Dallas has a killer schedule (Philly, Giants, & Baltimore) so I would count them out, especially after last Sunday's game. Tampa and Atlanta still have to play each other so that's one guaranteed loss for one of them. Also, Atlanta plays Minny, so either Minny will win the division but help us out by beating Atanta, or Atlanta will beat Minny and help make it possible for us to retake the division. There's also other 7-6 teams, so it's still pretty unlikely, but still possible if the Bears win out. Big if, I know.

Are you still recording the games on DVD? If you are and could make a copy I'll pay you.

I went to a KFFL article to check out the 2009 FA Class Article and found some interesting names on the list. In regards to free agent WRs that might be available (some may have already signed extensions since this article was put up or may sign before the FA period begins): TJH from CIN I think is a true #1 WR who could start as a #1 on any team in the NFL. However, I am sure he will be well sought after and very expensive. I wonder if the Bears would persue him? Bobby Engram is obviously near the end of his career but is still a great possession WR on 3rd down situations. J. Gaffney I think is the sleeper of the bunch. He is buried behind Wes Walk…

True as it may be that we need WR'S but can he make an impact? I like the 4.3 speed at 6'3 and 200lbs, put him and Lloyd on the outside with Olsen at TE and Hester in the slot and Davis/Bennett in the 4 WR set we might have something. Speed kills but he needs to be able to catch the ball. Devin Aromashodu Position: WR Ht., Wt.: 6-2.5, 201 40 Time: 4.38 BIO: Two-year starter who totaled 26/494/4 as a senior after junior numbers of 24/513/4. POSITIVES: Explosive receiver with an unpolished game. Quickly releases off the line, sharp running routes and gets separation from opponents. Comes back to the ball using his frame to protect the pa…

  20. With Green Bay's loss today, they are pretty much eliminated from the picture. However, we have an up hill battle to climb to overtake the Vikings. Our next three games are fairly tough games, IMO, but the Vikings have a brutal 3 game stretch with Arizona, Atlanta, and New York Giants. The biggest thing holding us back from the playoffs are ourselves. In the past four games (including today), we have only played 2 good halves, IMO. Our first half vs. the Jags today, and our first half vs. the Rams. Hell, if you think about it, our last good game was vs. the Eagles (I don't count at the Lions as they don't count as a team). I am kind of amazed how we've won 7 games al…
