Everything that needed to happen for the Bears to stay alive happened this weekend. The Queens lost, the Bucs lost, the Cowgirls lost, AND the Eagles lost. If the team isn't fired up for this game after that, then they deserve to be sitting at home. Take care of the Puckers and the Texans and we are very much still alive both in the division AND in the Wildcard. Let's kick their tails and hold our breath for next week!

The Bengals responded to the smashmouth conditions by feeding the ball to running back Cedric Benson 38 times for a career-high 171 yards. With 118 of those yards coming in the first half, it marked the first time since Dec. 11, 2005 against the Browns (when Rudi Johnson had 124 in Cincinnati) that the Bengals had a 100-yard rusher in the first half.

We've had mixed feelings about this ball club now sense our Superbowl run 2 years ago. Well, everyone it was a good day for the bears! Tampa, Philly, Minnesota, and Dallas all lost this week. What does this mean? Here's what we need to make it to the playoffs: Obviously we need to win out, so combined with that this is what needs to happen. Dallas must lose AT Philly next week and Tampa must lose at home against the Raiders. If this happens combined with a win tomorrow night and next sunday we're in as the 6th seed. However, why go for a 6th seed when the queens are going to choke away the division? So the way for us to be the 4th seed is for minnesotta to lose at home against he Giants. Bear weather: The kickoff temperature the past two games at Soldier Field has been 19 degrees against the Jaguars and 28 degrees versus the Saints. But that probably will seem balmy Monday, when the high temperature in Chicago is expected to reach only seven degrees. They were just talking about the maturity of mat ryan, and showed the last play he had against us. WOW, I haven't seen that clip since it happened and let me tell you that was a whole lot of B.S. the damn clock doesn't start until he drops back I know it's a moot point, but I can not believe the NFL didn't look into that last play because although it was only couple seconds that didn't come off( and it was clearly obvious in the nfl countdown replay), all they had on the clock was 1 second left that screwed us over! Cowboys are 9-6 now and still have to play the Eagles. Hopefuully yhe lose again and Philly gets beat by the skins. and we are ahead of both teams Boys & Philly for the wild card

Does it go by divisional conference record, or overall NFC Conference record, because if that is the case dallas now has 3 divisional conference losses and so does tampa and philly, so if we win monday night we would only have 2 losses. Just wondering since dallas's loss keeps us alive for a wildcard as well! HERE'S TO WINNING OUT!!! Now we have to hope that washington whipps up on philly and philly takes their fustrations out on dallas in week 16! Then all we'd need is for tampa to lose against san diego and oakland. One question for you..who and what postions in the upcoming FA market should we target? IMHO It should be QB,FS/SS, OG,OT,WR I just looked at some of the names at QB and found it had names like Cassel from the Patriots, Garcia from the Bucs, Collins from the Titians, Garrard from the Jaguars, and of course Qrton & Grossman. At WR Colston/Moore from the Saints, TO from Dallas, TJ H from the Bengals And Oline Dahl from the Falcons and Thomas from the Eagles,at DB Jones at SS from the Browns. With some of these playes we could make a real good push next year. Has anyone heard the status about Bently from the Browns at C/OG?

Note to Turner...if anyone goes to the MNF game against the Packers could you please yell at Turner for me about using our TE Davis and Olsen in the Red Zone. It seams that he can't hear me when I yell at him through the computer screen.

Anyone else checked out this kid. Another Illinois product that seems to me is much better then Mckie. I personaly feel that if they dont keep this kid they will regret it. I was watching the replay the other night and he slams the line like freight train on blocks and pass recieving seems to be superior to Mckies. I was disappointed when they let Pope go, now its Davis turn, But somehow I think Mckie has naked pics of lovie. He keeps turning up like a bad penny.

It's been talked about before, but seeing how pathetic our WR corps is right now, do you feel like going after a guy like Ocho Cinco who could potentially raise our team to the next level but also destroy the locker room? I personally feel we need a subforum in here to separate college football and the draft from the Bears. I don't know about others, but when I click on this forum, I look for Bears and NFL news, and I think separating the two would be beneficial. Thoughts?
