http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1056430...-in-nfl-history 50 Worst Draft Picks in NFL History By Vincent Frank(Featured Columnist) 41. Amobi Okoye, DL, Houston Texans Draft Pick: 10th overall in 2007 NFL draft from Louisville Career Statistics: 59 starts, 15.5 sacks and 165 tackles A lot of draft pundits were shocked when the Houston Texans spent the 10th overall pick of the 2007 NFL draft on this 19-year-old Nigerian, who was considered a physical beast but extremely raw. It isn't that Okoye didn't play decently in four seasons with the Houston Texans; it was more about the fact that he failed to grasp the nuances of the game a…

That would suck to see, but good for Forte. Chance to win a SB.

Not sure how this guy is better than Robbie Gould? I would assume we will see a new kicker next year unless he turns it around soon. Peace

I have spent the last few years dogging Nagy, his scheme, and play calling. Pace's draft strategy, free agent choices. It is what it is and I need to change how I process those choices. I have listened to a few different opinions over the past week on things. !. With Nagy turning play calling over to Lazor I think it can give him a better perspective during the game. Instead of his head buried in the play call sheet looking for his next magic bullet he can see how the game is going. Maybe not so many "I didn't see the play" comments He said so when asked about the hurry up call on I believe the Robinson or Moony toe tape catch. He knew it was a catch …

Gents, I have 4 tickets to both the Thursday, 8/15 and 8/29, preseason games available. I am willing to part with them for $40 each (half face value). I am simply trying to recoup some of my cost. Email me at jaycschulz@gmail.com if interested. First come, first served. Peace

The Colts are taking the approach they will be without three-time Pro Bowl center Jeff Saturday and rookie guard Mike Pollak when they open the season Sunday night against the Chicago Bears in Lucas Oil Stadium. More than that, they're taking a business-as-usual approach. The players who will fill in, coach Tony Dungy said Monday afternoon, "are here because they can do the job. You can't over-blow (the situation).'' Saturday could miss at least six games with ligament damage to his right knee. Pollak had minor surgery on his right knee and missed the final two preseason games. That leaves a likely offensive line grouping of left tackle Tony Ugoh, …

Redford had a lackluster career at Tulsa but for the last year has been training with former kicker John Carney. He has put of 15 lbs for leg strength and has been deadly accurate. He may be ready to blossom. The fact he took a year off to work out instead of trying to find a job, speaks highly for his dedication. He may be the cheap guy for our woes.

In the offseason, the guy lied about his vaccine status saying he was "immunized", never wore a mask, was in close contact with hundreds, if not thousands of people, who assumed he was vaccinated, and he wasn't. Pretty dirtbag move, but not surprising from him. I could care less if you are vaccinated or not, but it just seems odd that he would go this whole time acting like that. I am sure he will get off with a fine or something minor because he has some pics of the commissioner.

The best out of division opponents for this year are SF, HOU, DAL, and TEN, and none of those are really scary teams. 11-12 wins seems fairly reasonable to me. Home Seattle Seahawks St. Louis Rams Houston Texans Indianapolis Colts Carolina Panthers Detroit Lions Green Bay Packers Minnesota Vikings Away Arizona Cardinals San Francisco 49ers Jacksonville Jaguars Tennessee Titans Dallas Cowboys Detroit Lions Green Bay Packers Minnesota Vikings

We went out and got this guy pretty quickly after he got cut and he's been coached by Reggie Herring before. Must be something there we really like. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0924-story.html I checked around some draft profiles. From a physical and athletic standpoint he's not a diamond in the rough like Christian Jones may become but he sounds as if he's pretty quick for a LB but on the smaller side. He's been around long enough that we want him for special teams now or as a backup player moving forward (as in next year) or both. I suppose this could be related to Shea breaking his hand but there has been nothing out there indicating th…

Given our situation where we really need help and leadership in the defensive backfield I'm all in on Poles kicking the tires here. As long as he is healthy and in shape I'm in...sign him. Considering the style of defense we're moving toward which is much more see-it-and-react is what Thomas excelled at we should be ok with him on the field. I'm not expecting him to be great but unless we draft a S in Rd 2, which is unlikely, his leadership and experience is going to be a plus over any other option we have. Earl was the heart beat of the Seahawks great defense. A 1yr rental to help us right the ship will help us if for no other reason than teaching the young p…

http://espn.go.com/blog/chicago/bears/post...n-a-bigger-role “The plan is for him to play more, and hopefully be a starter,” Angelo told ESPNChicago.com at the NFL owners meetings. “Everything we saw this past year we liked. The arrow’s going up. We feel, physically speaking, he’s got everything you want in terms of size, speed, toughness. Now it’s just a matter of learning the position that will come with the repetition of more plays.” Melton bulked up during the lockout from his listed 2010 weight of 260 pounds to close to 300 pounds.

Ok, I am not in this camp, but I thought it was at least an interesting discussion. I saw this brought up before. Just seeing the effort from the O-Line and then the receivers on the scramble drills (or lack of effort), is it possible that some of these guys are purposely half-assing it to undermine Trubisky? The O-Line (at least everyone except Whitehair who is Mitch's friend) are getting run over to the extent that it's almost purposeful. They can't be this bad. Leno has never played worse. Massie is huge and can't move a guy 50 lbs lighter than him? Daniels who was a promising interior lineman is literally whiffing at dudes a the LOS. When have you seen all recei…

Eberflus is saying all the right things…so far. One absence of note: Eddie Jackson. And they brought in a few players to try out. A little background on each: https://www.bleachernation.com/bears/2022/04/19/the-bears-hosted-5-players-for-minicamp-tryouts/?fbclid=IwAR1lztv2glDNpnIwiW4IbDrrRMwM-9g4z60awO4yY7_XEL__Cb-ecBS2ilI

No terms disclosed - reported by Adam Jahns. He also was in Indy with Eberflus back in 2021. Know nothing else about him - but sounds like a swing tackle.
