I too would like to see quite a bit of this given the talent we now have at TE. That includes Brown should we decide to trade Miller, although I lean towards keeping 4 TEs on the roster. http://bearswire.usatoday.com/2017/05/25/b...end-formations/ The mix of TE talent we have, along with Howard on the field behind a good run blocking Oline (you know it's true), puts a defense in a quandary. Now if we only had a QB talented enough to roll out and throw on the run, or just run.

I would assume we are going to keep a FB by having two on the roster. Probably means we only keep 3 RBs? Cunningham probably doesnt make the cut.

In order to enter Training Camp this year you will be required to go on the Bears web site and get "free" tickets. So many families have visited Training Camp to watch the team practice over decades without any problems and now in 2017 this team has decided that only computer friendly fans should have access to Training Camp that has no reserved seating for the average fans but, some groups have some of the few bleachers reserved be it sponsors or whoever. This organization continues to make questionable decisions when it comes to relating to the fans. If I attend anything this year it will be the fan fest at Soldier's Field. If I have to go on line to gain entrance at l…

Found this article on SI.com. It's a good read, and yes, he played "End" at 170lbs. https://www.si.com/vault/1977/12/05/622015/...-woman-under-48

Admittedly I've never liked much of what Jones has done on the field. Despite having outstanding athleticism he seemed to have little ability to diagnose a play and get into the right position to stop it. Now just two weeks into this camp and here's Jone's being listed as one of the most improved players. If true he along with Kwiatkoski could give us excellent depth at ILB. Jones ability to run (and hopefully cover TEs) fits better as the backup to Trevathan while Kwit's skills fit better behind Freeman. I don't expect Trevathan to get many plays in preseason so we'll get plenty of opportunity to compare Kwit and Jones. http://www.chicagobears.com/news/chalk…

The Denver Broncos have cut T. J. Ward, Pro Bowl strong safety. I know we got Demps in FA and drafted Jackson but I have to believe we have more than enough room and cap space to bring in a 30 year old player to bolster a position we have needed strengthening since Mike Brown departed. I would prefer a pro bowl CB or a OLT that is a big upgrade over what we currently have starting. However, since the likelihood of finding either at this stage is slim to none, T. J. Ward looks mighty fine to me.

Came across this via another forum. Gives some perspective on some of the issues facing Trubisky as he learns the NFL. It's also clear why Gentry has trouble getting open. Too many steps in and out of his cuts and he'll need to be more precise to survive in the NFL.

From Larry Mayer on the Chicago Bears website: Perhaps the most demoralizing aspect of Sunday's game for the Bears was that they didn't lose to a future Hall of Famer such as Brett Favre or Rodgers but to an inexperienced quarterback in Brett Hundley who was making only his fourth NFL start. Hundley deserves credit for his performance—he threw for 212 yards with one touchdown and a 110.8 passer rating—but he obviously is not one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history like his two predecessors. The Bears have now lost their last eight games to the Packers at Soldier Field beginning with the 2010 NFC Championship Game and are 4-21 at home versus Green Bay sin…

Great Blue North website has a list of all the undrafted college players on it, and it is pretty extensive. Lots of names we thought would have been drafted somewhere.

So here it is: Bears get: Jay Cutler, Johnny Knox - WR Broncos get: Kyle Orton, Robert Ayers - DE, Richard Quinn - TE (for picks #79 & #84), Alphonso Smith - CB (for 1st Round pick in 2010) Steelers get: Kraig Urbik - OL, Mike Wallace - WR (both picks for pick #64) Seahawks get: Bears #1 pick in 2010 (for pick #37) It seems that Denver had a chance to come out pretty good with the original trade. However, trading away a first rounder for A. Smith was a pretty big reach. Then trading picks #79 and #84 to grab Quinn was also pretty questionable. Seattle and Pittsburgh both made out pretty good.

This kid reminds me of Thomas Jones a little. Not only in running style but work ethic. I can see why we brought him for a look. Did not have a good 40 time but plays fast. http://www.athleticnetwork.net/site.php?pa...amp;newsID=7155 Will ta'ufo'ou ( say that 10 times ) FB is interesting as well. He will definately bring competition at FB. http://ballhype.com/video/will_ta_ufo_ou_career_highlights/ Hey look Tom Waddle born again, Eric Peterman.

At the start of Free Agency i was very close to jumping off the ledge. I couldnt believe we were doing nothing. We then make "THE TRADE". As well as picking up some new OLine talent. Now the draft has come and gone and now i am even more excited. Here is a list of things that i am very interested in seeing and excited about: 1. Cutler- enough said 2. WR's- i have read a couple of times that Cutler made the WR's in Denver. I cant wait to see what Hester and Cutler can do. Drafting Enqriue Inglesias was huge IMHO. Watching him play in NC game against one of the best Defenses in the country was a good marker on his talent level. I think he could be great. I'm also exc…

From chicagobears.com: "Looking back at the 2008 season, it seems Matt Forte got a whole lot of first downs for the Bears. How many first downs did Matt Forte pick up and where did that rank in the NFL?" Robin San Juan, Puerto Rico "Matt Forte tied for the NFL lead with 86 first downs, matching Washington’s Clinton Portis and Atlanta’s Michael Turner. Forte had 63 rushing first downs, and his 23 receiving first downs were surpassed only by Jacksonville’s Maurice Jones-Drew among NFL running backs. On third downs, Forte led the NFL with 28 first downs overall and 19 first downs rushing." For my own part, it seemed like every time I saw Forte run the b…
