I finally got back into LA after the game yesterday, and celebrating at Ditka's afterwards! What a game! I've never seen that kind of offensive and ST outpouring of points! The D had me irritated for the first half, but the O was on time! As was the entrie ST crew! The crowd was really loud and really got behind the Bears. There were some boo's when Detroit scored on long drive, but justifiably so. SMith again made good adjustments at the half, yet couldn't again get it right on D at the beginning of the game. It's looked like deja vu other than the O coming to play! Kdos to the entrie O and ST...and to the D in the second half! (Could the D from t…

I hate to give up picks, but Robby Anderson is said to be out there and could be had for a day 3 pick. If he could be had for a 5th would you do it? This would allow our day 2 picks to be shifted to OL/DL/CB.

I don't know who his source is but last year he was spot on with the Bears. In general I've always liked his analysis of players and teams. I"m having a tough time getting Twitter links to work correctly If the bottom one doesn't work scroll through this until you see Riddick. https://twitter.com/hashtag/Bears?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc^tfw

Don't know if this was posted before and I know there are many who are not a fan of McDaniels, but it's a good read. I don't think there are any of us that didn't mess up when we were young and knew more than the rest of the world. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2666428...-pick-his-spots

I've spent a lot of time hyping up Byron Pringle this off-season, but Mooney needs some love too. What makes a #1 WR in the NFL? How many are there? Last year Mooney was 15th in receiving yards among wide receivers(17th overall). He also was 6th in the league in creating separation. Mooneys best ability, imo, is his ability to get down field and create separation. With the OL being pretty blah last year I don't think we were able to utilize that ability all that well. Fields and Mooney have been working out together all off-season, and with an improved offensive line, giving him the ability to work down the field more, I could see …

A couple articles just kinda hit me here. In this first article it talks about how big the play action game is in a wide zone system. Last year the Bears ran the 2nd fewest play actions. Soooo it got me thinking, how was Fields running the play action in college? Turns out he was one of best.... https://www.elevenwarriors.com/ohio-state-football/film-study/2020/06/114445/film-study-from-bootlegs-to-shots-downfield-justin-fields-was-one-of-the-nations-best-play-action?amp Encouraging sign for his transition into the new offense. Also perhaps another point for the Nagy didn't properly use Fields argument.

September 16, 2010 Bears sign reserve linebacker Wilson to one-year deal By: Larry Mayer | Last Updated: 9/16/2010 11:08 AM LAKE FOREST, Ill. – The Bears on Thursday signed linebacker Rod Wilson to a one-year contract. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Wilson replaces Hunter Hillenmeyer, who was placed on injured reserve Tuesday due to a concussion he suffered in the Bears’ third preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals. Wilson was selected by the Bears in the seventh round of the 2005 draft. After missing his rookie season with a knee injury, he appeared in 28 games in 2006-07, recording 30 special teams tackles and 12 stops on defense. Af…

  13. As per Brad Biggs, "The Chicago Bears had a scenario they hoped would pan out unfold Thursday night as Wisconsin's Gabe Carimi fell all the way to them at No. 29, making a would-be trade to get ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs to No. 26 unnecessary." Ok, he doesn't actually come out and say it, but he implies we were wanting to move up for Carimi. Particularly since most mocks had Carimi going to Kansas City at #21.

This is how the roster could look next summer: Quarterback Here: Jay Cutler, Caleb Hanie, Brett Basanez. Cutler's the franchise, Hanie continues to mature in the system, and Basanez is a solid No. 3. With a limited number of draft picks, the Bears might not have the luxury of adding a young arm, but they already have three. Running back Here: Matt Forte, Kahlil Bell, Garrett Wolfe. Forte had a down year, but he's versatile and can be a workhorse, which he proved as a rookie. Bell is a more patient runner who appeared to have better quickness than Forte in limited but impressive duty. Wolfe averaged 5.5 yards per carry and can factor as a pass…

Jones has a concussion issue. Kiran Amagadje is available, as is Larry Borom. First and foremost, I worry about Caleb. I want him protected. No point in getting him injured now. But I'd be lying if I said I wasnt interested to see Amagadje out there showing what he's got. Hopefully both are possible at once, and Amagadje shows us something. But if it's one or the other, of course I'd lean toward protecting Caleb. And it's not like Borom is any sure thing. If things get ridiculous, I wouldn't be averse to seeing Bagent out there if things get hairy just to make sure Caleb is OK.
