They help lay the foundation going forward. Pace just seems to be putting and keeping together a staff that may make this next ten years one of the all time great Bear teams. Here is a listing of the QB, top 2 RB, top 3 WR, and top 2 TEs for the NFC North. The Bears don't have a top end guy like Jefferson, Aaron Jones, or Hockenson, but the Bears floor is higher than any other group. Arguably, Tonyan is the worst Bear in that group, but is better than any other TE2 on the list. Almost 60 years of watching the Bears. I told myself I would not say anything anymore after Monday night. But here I am. I have infested more time and emotions than I want to say, And still have had my heart ripped out for all but one season If my mind was not so weak I would list all the games I have watched since the 70's, 80's 90' into the next century when they did not close the season. Still they are not the Lions, Minnesota, or any of a dozen teams who have not won the big one. That is what needs to happen this week at a minimum. If there are not changes made this week, we need to seriously boycott. Do not attend anymore home games, leave Soldier Field empty and see how that goes over.

Wow, first off, I love Brandon Staley. Did anyone else see the Chargers Raiders game? If they tied, both would make the playoffs due to IND's loss. Well LAC scored a last-second TD and forced overtime (they didn't go for 2). Then in OT they swapped FGs and with the game tied and the Raiders at the LAC39 with 38 seconds left (and a running clock), Staley called a timeout. It was clear to everyone in the world that the Raiders were content to run out the clock and take a tie.
