I am watching the Saints v Giants 2012. Bushrod is beast in run and pass blocking. On runs he has great foot speed and in pass blocking the only time Pierre Paul or Umenyora have gotten any pressure is Umenyora bull rushed him and had the advantage but Bushrod fought back and Brees was not touched. Webb would have been on his arse and Cutler being carried off. Only watched to halftime so far but left tackle will not be a concern next year on this performance. I remember last time we played giants Webb was killed. As a foot note Bennett was run blocking well and caught a TD and ran a good route.

How about Fitzmagic and Ehlinger in the draft for next season? Leaves us the first pick for OT. I heard an interview with the Longhorn, seems pretty heady and smart. I’ll admit I watched next to noting in terms of Texas’ games this year.

1. Great game for Cutler. He improvised when he was rushed and made big play after big play. If Williams and Hester catch those passes, Cutler likely ends the game with 300 yards. 2. Bennett truly is a missing link. When he's out there, the offense is good. 3. Forte will be fine. Last night was the exception, not the rule. I expect him to have a huge game against Detroit. 4. Scanning across some top 50 player lists and anywhere from 13 to 15 of the top 50 players in this draft are DBs. Depending on who's board you are using there's a few more just outside the top 50 as well including players like Melifonwu, Adoree Jackson (seen him as late 1st Rd pick too), or Quincy Wilson. The rankings among CBs are all over the place and have changed dramatically since 31 Dec. Jabril Peppers who was largely considered a top 5 pick now is listed in the late 1st and in some places early 2nd Rd (Jeremiah has him at 33rd overall). I will have the videos later, but the Bears (Edmunds) caused a fumble after a completion to Travis Etienne, but they overturned the play on the field as an incomplete pass. It was clear that Etienne caught it facing the QB, then turned to go forward when Edmunds punched the ball out. The call on the field was fumble and Bears recovery. Then in the ARZ/GB game, James Conner did the exact same thing, catch and turn, and they called it a fumble in GBs favor. No review. Crazy.
