This is very positive for a rookie coach. It seemed like the team had a bunch of thugs on it when I watched them play the Ravens last year. I guess Billick was doing a better job than he got credit for.

Benson's "shape" is still being debated so I wanted to post what Hub Arkush said on the SCORE on last Sunday the night. According to Hub, after the 2007 season, the Bears asked Benson to gain 12 pounds in the offseason. However, Benson decided not to reamain with the team and work-out under the watchful eye Rusty Jones, but he spent most of the off-season back in Texas. I've been thrilled with everything I have read about this guy. Now with the possible problems of Benson (he hasn't been proved to be guilty of anything yet) I am THRILLED we selected him in rd 2. In an article by Brad Biggs he is stating Detroit was going to select him in rd 2 if we passed on him. So, as said before, if we felt this guy was the best "all-around" "3-down" "NFL-Ready" RB available, then we had to select him in rd 2 or we would not have gotten him PERIOD!

In general, how much of an impact do you think the rookie class can make this season? I think they can make a huge impact. We’re counting on Chris Williams to come in and compete and play really well. Matt Forte, from what we saw on film before he even came here and after he got here, he’s going to have an immediate impact as well. I think we’ll definitely have a role for Earl and he’ll see a lot of playing time. I think Kellen has a chance to come in in a defined role as well.

Not sure if this is in the right forum. Has anyone else looked at the prices for PSL seats through the Bears PSL marketplace. Question for ya guys: Does anyone own any PSL's and what price did you pay(if you dont mind telling)? Im thinking about offering a guy for a set of 4 and was trying to gauge a fair price. Just read this on MSNBC.com: When Cedric Benson was being arrested over the weekend, he apparently responded to the face full of pepper spray by crying, and calling out for his mother. Any info? I read some post from another forum that the score reported today that benson's injury is worse than everyone thought and that his career with the bears is over and it will be announced publically in a few days? Is this true? If it is, do they bring in some vet with experience. I think forte will be a good back, but we can't possibly try going into the season with no experience at all can we? I'd make a trade like a 6th rd pick in next years draft for lamont jordan, or try for alexander if he's affordable.
