Weird to see Bears as leading vote getters, 4 OL on the list, 14 total players in the top 10. The top 4 guys should be in consideration for All Pro, Dalman, Thuney, and Byard should be 1st Teamers. Wright, just because of name recognition will probably lose out to Horn or Surtain for 1st Team All-Pro. OC - Dalman - NFC1 / NFL2 OG - Thuney - NFC1 / NFL1 FS - Byard - NFC1 / NFL1 CB - Wright - NFC2 / NFL2 KR - Duvernay - NFC2 / NFL3 ST - Blackwell - NFC2 / NFL4 OT - Wright - NFC4 / NFL4 OG - Jackson NFC3 / NFL7 DE - Sweat - NFC3 / NFL7 LS - Daly - NFC5 / NFL5 QB - Williams - NFC4 / NFL7 P - Taylor - NFC5 / NFL10 TE - Loveland - NFC6 / NF…

The national press and some locals claim doomsday for this team. Yes we lost Mack and Hicks, but last yr they were hurt more than they helped. This yr we have improved a dismal DB group with the addition of Brisker and Gordon. Johnson has grown one more yr and hopefully the new scheme rejuvenated Jackson. The scheme seems to be more user friendly for Vidor. Graham is expected to take a step forward. We signed Tevon Young, and Clurkshank for added depth. Elijah Hicks seems to be going to make the roster. Smith is back in the fold and should flourish in this scheme. Morrow is running under the radar but was highly productive in LV and has the speed of Smith. SLM…

What does Ryan Poles need to do so the Bears start getting some compensatory picks in 2025 and to regularly receive them in the future. It seems like teams like the 49ers know how to manage the system. What are we doing wrong?

Looks as though the Jets could be shopping both DT Sheldon Richardson and S Calvin Pryor today. I believe last year we were interested in Richardson (?) but they wanted too much. Now he might be had for a fourth (which we have extra of). As far as the financials go, not sure how feasible it would be. Both positions are 'of need' for us. ???? http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300000080...-day-2-of-draft

Saints “making a push” for free agent Ben Grubbs Brandon Meriweather will visit Redskins on Wednesday visited the Denver Broncos on Tuesday night, but it appears he’ll be leaving the Mile High City without a deal in place. The trading deadline is on October 29th and the Bears have some tough decisions to make. They are 3-3 and I think the outcome of the Chargers game will determine which way they go at the deadline. They obviously have some needs and I could actually see them as buyers and sellers even if they win. If they lose, you have to think fire sale and clean up the cap while recouping picks. Right now they have a few candidates to be cut in the offseason to save money for next year. Those guys include Amukamara, Davis, Gabriel, Patterson, and Shaheen. They also have others who would become FA's in the offseason: Daniel, Sowell, RRH, Trevathan, Kwiatkoski, Lynch, and HHCD. …

After watching two weeks of the playoffs, for how bad the Bears played this season, they played way too many of these teams close enough that with small changes, the outcomes could've been much different. Just like 2023, the Bears were a better team than their record. We now know a lot of this was on Flus and the coaching staff. The Bears had 5 games decided by a FG or less, two others by 6 or less, and then the NE game where they didn't even show up. That is 8 games. If they just won half of those, that is a 9-win team. Win 75%, and it's an 11-win team. With the right coaching staff, a few key FAs, a solid draft, and this team will look magically transfor…

Another solid depth piece, looks to fill the McCloud role (who was burnt way too much when he was on the field), so this may be bigger upgrade than face value.

As of today, it looks like there are only a couple of "starting" positions that need to be settled. Looking at the offense, RG seems like the only position where there is not someone locked in at least for now. The WR room still looks like it could use one more veteran to add to the competition with Jones, Newsome, and Moore. The RB room is a strength and the TE room has enough. So outside of RG, maybe LT if Borom struggles, and another WR. Is there anything else they can do to improve in post-draft FA? QB Fields RB Montgomery FB Blasingame > RB/WR/TE in subs TE Kmet WR Mooney WR Pringle RT Jenkins LT Borom OC Patrick LG Whitehair RG Jones/Doz…

Four time last to first. Home game, I don't care who we are playing. And I don't remember the last game we had. Well I kinda do and it really sucked. But I think this team can beat anyone when all cylinders are hitting. It's gonna be tough but we can beat any team any where it they are. DaBears!!!

It doesn't really matter. There are two outstanding teams in the NFC and the rest are crap. Good teams find ways to win. Great teams win. So what if we barely make it to the playoffs. It will be a quick exit if we are not kicking it on all cylinders. We are not. Cutler hurt was devasting to our chances to make it far. We have old guys on defense that can still bring it. But watching them yesterday it was clear that they are looking at Hanie and saying.. We are screwed. There are no gimmie games in the NFL. The deflated crowd yesterday after every 3 and out was tough to see. I was even in shock going. damn we need some kind of spark. I didn't even yell at my tv. I layed…
