http://www.chicagobears.com/news/NewsStory.asp?story_id=6582 Smith lauds depth, young talent at wide receiver position By: Larry Mayer | Last Updated: 2/26/2010 6:18 PM INDIANAPOLIS – Coach Lovie Smith is excited about the continued development of the Bears’ young wide receivers and believes that they’ll thrive in new coordinator Mike Martz’s system. While some considered the position a weak link prior to the 2009 season, Devin Hester, Earl Bennett, Johnny Knox, Devin Aromashodu and Rashied Davis combined to catch 185 passes for 2,334 yards. It was the highest output by Bears receivers since they had 192 receptions in 2002 and 2,363 yards in 2001. …

I mean what are they doing? Are they planning to trade up and filling roster spots ?

I just had to LMAO when I saw this. Since Aaron Rodgers was in it, I assumed it was ok to post here. Go Bulls!!

I listened to a Podcast about redrafting the Bears players if you were starting a new franchise with the obvious #1 choice being Fields. Then after that though, if you weigh previous performance and projected output, who would your next 5 players be? I am thinking it would be Moore, Edmunds, Jaylon Johnson, Wright, and maybe Brisker or Jackson. What do you think? Either way, I found it interesting that 3 out of the top 5 are new acquisitions, and if you go with Brisker, 4 out of 5 are from Poles. That really is pushing the depth chart down. Even guys off the list like Stevenson push Vildor to lead CB-backup role that he fits better in. Borom becomes a swing tack…

Need the best draft pick possible!!!!!!!! Get the only loss of 2012 out of the way today!!!

According to "Swift Sports Network" the Bears will be designated as the away team in a matchup with KC in Germany. I haven't seen this confirmed anywhere else. If true, it would be a good trade off. I'd prefer playing KC on a neutral site than at Arrowhead. Found this: Report: Bears expected to play Chiefs in Germany in 2023

Lamar back to MVP form, Fields can play like this, he just needs to be unleashed. Either DET is ok or WAS is terrible. Wentz is god awful one minute and looks amazing the next. Poor Mitch. 15-24, 120 yds, 1 INT, 3 sacks, looks lost. Mac Jones is going to beat him. IND looks terrible wow. Matt Ryan is done, looks worst than Rivers. Lawrence is abusing their defense, which is shocking, great game for him though. Flacco vs Brissett, what a barn burner there. First team to stay awake wins. Daniel Jones vs Mayfield, barn burner 2.0. The game of the injured RBs (McCaffrey and Barkely, who gets injured first?) Has anyone seen Brady lately, looks li…

Multiple sources say the Bears have reworked contracts to free up $ 17 million in cap space. Does this mean a big move is about to happen?

I love listening to Riddick and hope at some point he works for the Bears. Great interview. https://www.windycitygridiron.com/2021/8/16/22627833/chicago-bears-wouldnt-shocking-see-justin-fields-start-week-1-louis-riddick-rich-eisen-andy-dalton

I know Pace is gone, but it is interesting that he was relentlessly hounded for the Trubisky flop (rightfully so), but then also criticized for Fields as well; while during those two drafts, Lynch drafted Solomon Thomas, then traded up for Trey Lance, who now looks to go into his 3rd season as QB3 behind Brock Purdy and Sam Darnold. If SF drafts Mahomes in 2017 or even Watson for that matter, they probably win the SB in 2019 and have a good shot of making it back in 2021 and 2022. These are Lynch's 1st round picks since 2017: 2017 - 3rd Overall - Solomon Thomas 2018 - 9th Overall - Mike McGlinchey (no longer on team) 2019 - 2nd Overall - Nick Bosa 2…

Good stuff. https://www.chicagobears.com/video/roquan-smith-mic-d-up-vs-49ers-this-is-my-type-of-party

I know they picked the Bears last year because of Caleb's rookie year, but this year would've been so much better to see Johnson at work with his new staff and the revamped roster.
