Anytime, football season, I'm working or doing anything around the house I listen to the score. In Rockford it comes in much better than ESPN. I've listened from the beginning of their existence and liked some DJs and disliked a few . Bernstein is a smart guy but would always talk down to people, think he's smarter than everyone else and was an a**hole a lot. I am happy he's gone. I used to be on his Twitter account and would call him out when he was a jerk. He finally blocked me. He always wanted to interject politics into his sports world. For me, I always used sports for my escape from normal reality. If you live woke, you die woke. It happened to him.

I thought this was interesting. Considering it is a 17-game season, most people see the Bears going 6-11 or worse. With the Bears schedule, it seems like this would be less likely than the over, but if Fields doesn't take a leap in his 2nd season, then it seems way more likely.

Nice move - my presumption is if the Bears arrow continues to accelerate upwards he will be gone at the end of the year - but I'm good if he wants to be picky and stick around a bit longer

I don't know how it won't be the Bears this offseason. What do you think?

I just read an interesting article on si.com stating there has been misinformation about CW's fumbling issues. We've been talking about his 30+ fumbles in three years of college. According to the quote below (I assume it is correct), he really hasn't had nearly as much a problem holding onto the ball as the good old internet pundits have cried. I will have to check it out. But if true, one less thing to worry about.

Here are my stand out players who I think will slip into the bottom of the 53-man. OFF - TE - Tommy Sweeney 6-75, 1 TD - With Kmet, Everett, and Lewis not playing ST, I think they carry a 4th TE, and it would be Sweeney. He also has been a key contributor with several ST tackles. WR - Dante Pettis 5-98, 2 TD - I think Pettis ends up as WR5/6 and is the lead PR. He looks healthy this year and reminds me of his time in SF where he looked like a solid WR2/3. Like Sweeney, Pettis has ST value. That might get him on the roster over Johnson and/or possibly Velus. DEF - Edge - Hardy 10 tackles, 3.5 sacks - This dude has really impressed. He is everywhere…

Reports are swirling around the possibility that Derek Carr may need surgery and be out indefinitely. With the Saints at the 9th pick that puts a QB in the mix at their pick.

Crazy to think these are the only teams the Bears lost to (see below). The worst teams are GB and MIN that play each other tonight. So the only one team that Fields lost to will go into Week 18 under .500, and 3 of those losses were the collapses. Post Week 16 games. 2018 was probably the last time the national media had the Bears ranked this high. Here are the top 10 power rankings and the Bears ranking: CBS Sports - 4th Yahoo - 5th NFL.com - 6th Sharp - 6th NBC/PFT - 7th ESPN - 8th The Score - 8th Fox/Brady - 9th USA Today - 9th nfelo - 10th Average - 7.2 It feels like any team in the top 10 has a shot at the Super Bowl, the Rams are the closest to a complete team and they just lost to the Seahawks. If the Bears beat the 49ers, they have to be considered a top 5 team, which is hard to believe, and it is wild to see some rankings already have them in the top 5.
