Defense is valuable in a big game. Nagy O works if you run the ball. We need a speed WR We need a quality TE We need a solid oline. To keep the defense good we need another pass rusher. Healthy Hicks matters. I think filling the CB and SS spot will be relatively cheap. Pass rusher will not be. We have a lo to do.

I think, as a Bears fan, and feeling slightly petty about things...I want both teams to lose. I want to say that I'm not a fan of Pagano. I think he's more conservative than Fangio, and Fangio was too conservative for my liking. Pagano goes into a damn prevent half way through the 3rd quarter with a lead. He makes easy wins too interesting. Look no further than the Dallas game for proof. I'm very disappointed in his first season as I was expecting a more aggressive DC than Fangio.

The Chicago Bears have hired John DeFilippo to be the new QB coach. Dave Ra-gone is not gone but now a passing coordinator.

J. Covert and E. Sprinkle are new Bears in HOF. Great to see one of the OLineman from the 80's get in. But even I'm too young to have watched Sprinkle. And have no idea why my font is this way all of a sudden. But go Bears!

The NFL and media have fallen in love with the passing game in recent years but this year the playoffs are proving that you can still win by running the ball. The Titans have taken down the Patriots and Ravens behind a middling QB, a strong running game/Oline, and a strong defense. We have two of those pieces. FWIW the Ravens got to the 1 seed by running. We all know we need the Oline fixed but we also must find a good RB to compliment Montgomery. A RB with some speed. Then we need someone to call the running plays.
