  1. Once again, "I never said it would happen." Thanks for admitting it. Anyways, you wouldn't want want it to happen?
  2. Where did I say it would happen? Please use the term "RT" loosely. Carimi sucks, Webb is a failed LT experiment and Scott is a career mediocre RT. If I was Emery, I'd cut either of the first 2 losers and make Clabo the RT.
  3. So he was a 320 pound lazy fatass and now he's a 280 pound hard working, ultra talented player? Noted.
  4. If the Bears signed Clabo and drafted Cooper/Warmack in round 1 or Warford in round 2, they'd right away have a great OL.
  5. Then why wasn't he on a roster in 2010, 2011 or 2012?
  6. If Ogletree, Cooper, Warmack, and Austin are gone, I would then assume that the options would be down to Brown, Fluker, Trufant, and trade down. I'd take any.
  7. A sentence that has the words like "Bears," "sign," and "J.Russell" gives me nothing to be positive about. But just so you know, we all know he's hungry. He's fat as s*** and plays like s***. No thank you. McCown>Russell in everything except a hotdog/any food item eating contest.
  8. On top of this, these scouts and front office members get to talk to college coaches, teammates, and the players themselves. Just from this, you can get a lot out of a guy. As for WF, he now has sources in the league. It's not like he's a guy in Philadelphia making assumptions. He talks to people inside the league and watches A LOT of tape.
  9. 100% agree. I love both but for me, I'd rather have Ogletree.
  10. Reread your tweet. It makes it sound like you were talking about Jeffery, not Cutler.
  11. Best year as a Bear? You make it seem like this will be his 4th year. If he's not better than what was he was last year, people will actually start believing my comparison of Braylon Edwards.
  12. Drafttek has the Bears going Ogletree then...wait for it...Te'o. How f***ing dumb would that be?
  13. You guys seem to be forgetting CB. Who steps in if Tillman goes down? Hayden does, but then who fills in at nickel? I'm all for drafting a G, C, WR and LB but CB is a need as well. David Amerson is round 2 would be tremendous value.
  14. Let me start out by saying that Cutler had some of his best stretches under Martz (after the bye in 2010 and 2011), so that's nonsense, but anyhow..."Martz system sucked?" That's hindsight. At the time, it was "Martz is an offensive guru." Then they hired Tice and traded for Marshall, and it was "well, Tice lets him audible, Martz won't be around to get him killed on 7 step drops, he likes Tice, and he loves Marshall! This will be great!"
  15. We said that when he had Martz, then got Marshall with Tice and Bates. I'll hold off on saying "he's not going anywhere" at the moment.
  16. Maybe it's just me, but you don't keep a guy around who signed a 4 year, $18m deal "for depth." You keep him around because he's good and will contribute. In your scenario, Bennett isn't going to contribute unless there's an injury.
  17. And next year, they'll have about $40m in cap space.
  18. I'd say he was there to see Holmes, Robey, and Woods. Although to me, Holmes is probably a ZBS C and Robey is quite small but is quick. Woods would be a solid pick in round 2. Hell, maybe he was interested in Barkley.
  19. Might as well cut Earl Bennett then.
  20. I would say they could use a starting RG, but yeah, I wouldn't say "need."
