  1. Nah. Why do they get the benefit of the doubt?
  2. He should have been let go when the second coach got fired. Just because the Bears brass doesn't have the guts to do it, doesn't mean it shouldn't have been done. But, ultimately he should be fired simple for his gross ineptness as a HC on the field. He wasn't hired to be a DC.
  3. One such error is forgivable. 2 is a trend. It's his fault because he hired them both. If you have no accountability for your hires, how exactly does that work? It wasn't fLose that let those people go. It was either Warren or Poles or the combo of both. There is a trend of lack of accountability on fLose's part. This is one of many instances. If you want to blindly follow a man with so many issues on and off the field, go nuts. I'm out on him. If he proves me wrong, I'd be happier than a pig in slop. But, I've been around long enough to know when to fold em.
  4. fLose created the adversity! He hired 2 horrible coordinators. One on O and one who had to leave for questionable behavior. We should be happy with mediocrity. Coaching is an enormous part of the NFL. We keep hiring checkers players when all the good ones play chess. Harbaugh for sure! fLose literally got us the worst record in Bears history. Not sure how much worse we could get...
  5. I'm just being transparent. He can look up my address based on my season ticket info. Thanks!
  6. I just wanted to let him know that there are people who are unhappy with the direction. I thought of writing Poles as well. But, I'm not sure my letter would matter to him. I figured I'd go above him.
  7. Ha! I got us 2 more 1st round picks for next year!
  8. Thanks! Do tell! In case a write a second one...
  9. I like it! W/ the exception of Maye...
  10. Overall I like it, but I think we need to address Edge and C a little earlier. But, I'd take it!
  11. I can't take another season w EverLose... Bears Warren Letter 2023-2024 season redact.pdf
  12. Sorry, I've been in finance brokering deals for over 35 years...not one soul has tried to freak us over who we are friends with. It's the ones you don't like or don't know. It gets contentious. If you know/like them, it's boilerplate. Sure, anything is possible. All the things you can criticize Poles for, like Claypool, etc...this isn't one of them that he's chummy w/ players. And is he really? Or is that for show? We don't know. So, honestly speculating on it seems like jousting at windmills. Respect that you think "something is up". But, I just don't see it.
  13. Sorry, but I don't see that in the least. A player will hold out for money because he thinks he's wroth that and he knows/thinks he can get a comparable or better offer elsewhere. I feel the opposite, in fact. If you have a tight relationship w/ the GM, you'd be more likely to accept less. But, really it's all individual. Poles apparently didn't like Roquan. Liked Kmet. No deal and deal. So, who really knows... My thought is let it play out. Poles has shown far more positives than negatives. I'm going to let him do his job and then assess after.
  14. I think Cunningham getting a gig would get us a 3rd round pick.
  15. 1. I agree. And let's not forget, the team looked woefully unprepared to start the season. 2. Getsy would certainly do himself a lot of favors by not turtle-heading in the second half and make actual adjustments. 3. Great points. My overall though on the QB's in the draft is none are a sure thing. Elway, Manning (Peyton), and Luck were. None of these current guys resemble what those 3 were. There have been non- #1 overall prospects that have succeeded greatly. But, the top...not many. Which is why I think, the answer to both long term and SB success if to parlay that first pick to a haul. Line everything up from top to bottom except the QB. Get a better OC, and give Fields a chance to truly shine. It's what SF, PIT and a few other successful squads have done. If it doesn't work, sell the farm next year and get a QB. Maybe event he next Manning in a couple.
  16. I really feel Edwards and Moore are deserving. While I love Jenkins, he's missed too many games. Also, Brisker seems a penny shy of a dollar to warrant it. He's so close. I hope he finds that penny this Sunday!
  17. 3. Warren is a wild card. We literally have no idea what his role really is and what his inclinations are. He could literally be here just for the new stadium. Or could also have a huge say in operations. We won't know until this off-season. Or maybe even another. Because, in theory, all he could do is replace Poles. Then whoever is hired deals w/ coaches, etc. So if he's supposed to do nothing, and does nothing, it somewhat could be perceived as he was fine w Poles and things as they are. Literally any scenario this season can be justified.
