One's that do, deserve some scrutiny? And basing any true test of a any players' worth on one pre-season game isn't exactly the best way to go about that. I think it's awesome he looked good, but I'd like to see more. I get a kick how so many "posters" love calling out random "posters"... Name names. I can't speak for others, but my feeling never get hurt if someone disagrees with me. If you have issue with someone's post, by all means, call them out. It makes discussion and banter more interesting.

I'm actually in shock. Pompei has been a puppet for the Bears for a good while now. I used to like him, then he got square in the Bears' corner and has been very one-sided to the point where I can't believe a thing he writes. This article goes against that. I want to see more from him in such a manner before I stop thiking he's still a pawn of the Bears.

Honestly, it's more props to Rodgers. But the assumption is if you want to trade for Rodgers, you are obviously not happy with Cutler. I don't think anyone's questioned Obama's loyalty to Chicago teams, in fact, I've heard many a person say that they are tired of it. (Obviously not Chicago fans...) Although last I checked, the Cubs play in Chicago... Just sayin'... I'm not a baseball guy, so I don't harbor the ill will that the North and South have... I contend we are all Bears fans. I'm just saying it's disrespectful to Cutler.

Exactly! And by the way, he doesn't have to do all that. All he has to do is come ready to play football and play well. Which, given all else, he has. He can be better, but he looks to be working on that too.

Not in the the least... I'm thrilled! Fat doesn't pad the beating you take as much as you think! I can vouch for that as I'm fairly fat and took my share of licks as a youth on the field. Muscle pads the beating. Looks at the beating the a guy like Steve Largent took? I seriously doubt he was on HGH due to his diabetes...but one never really knows. It's possible, but I'd give him the benefit of the doubt. Becasue he didn't look like the Hulk, he looked a little chubby around the face and neck. I don't believe he lost muscle mass from the pics I've seen. He just looks to have lost fat. Assuming he did so by both diet and excercise, I would imagine he has more muscle mass.
