Who is checking out?
God help us with another lost year then... Fangio is leaving. Only way he stays is as HC.

Who is checking out?
Fox is playing checkers still... It wins some of the time against bad teams. Rarely against quality. The team hasn't given up on him. At least not yet. But, it's not good enough. It's 3 years with not enough to show for it other than constantly looking like he was out-coached regardless of talent level. I'd love to see him bounced now, give Fangio a shot at HC, let Loggains do what he wants and let Donnatel coach the D. At least we'd have almost half a season to see if there's something there. We are just wasting time w/ Fox.

It really sounds like many of us are in that same boat. I want to leave no doubt in Pace's mind that Fox & Co. are not the right team to lead Tru and the rest of the team going forward. My perfect scenario... 1. Lose to Lions at home. Don't care if it's close or not. Another loss to a division rival at home bodes poorly for Fox. 3-7 2. Lose close to the Eagles. Have Tru make it a game. I'd love to win this, but I think the Eagles are substantially better than the Bears. 3-8 3. Lose to SF at home. Again, a low point of a bad team beating us. 3-9 4. Beat the Bengals. They are not that great, and we need a win. Tru needs wins. It can't be all bad. 4-9 5. Lose to Lions. I'd like to win this one...but I think they are the better team. They should win at home. 4-10 6. Lose to the Browns in Chicago. I read where Hue's only wins w. the Browns have come on X-Mas eve. If it happens again, we lose to another bad team and Fox is a goner. 4-11 7. Beat the Vikings. End of a high note. All on Tru. But, we probably lose. 5-11 The reality 1. Win 4-6 2. Lose 4-7 3. Win 5-7 4. Win 6-7 5. Lose 6-8 6. Win 7-8 7. Lose 7-9 Should still be bad enough to drop Fox...but it worries me somehow he'll con 'em into another year.

I think you're right. And losing will make it easier to bounce Fox & co.

Trubisky the Leader
I don't want another McMahon. There is one one. I want a Tru! His own man, ready to be the greatest QB the Bears have had to date!

Loved that! Thank you for reminding me of the story!

Bears vs. Packers Game Thread
This is the John Fox game. We win, Fox stays. We lose, he goes. Something tells me Pace would prefer to move on, but the McCaskeys might want to see it play out a bit longer. The thing that stops that is losing yet again to the Packers twice in a season while they only play a backup. We win, and McCaskeys are happy-ish. I really want to beat the living @h!t out of GB regardless...

Robbie Gould
All good and all, but didn't Andy Phillips outshine everyone? Why is he not in the mix?

He's ahead of the plan. The plan was to let him ride pine all season long. Tru is out there. Making playing, being part of it. It's development. Granted, if there were better coaches/gameplans, we might see that development move faster. But it is moving... I think we will be forced to throw this Sunday. Let's see what happens... - Fantasy Football Open Thread
