  1. They still need OL help since their QB can't stay upright...
  2. They just picked TE Rudolph... Was that a need at all? Shiancoe's one of the best TE's in the game. Seems a little odd. The spot he was picked seems to not be all that horrible from what I've heard. But, the pick itself just looks really strange for what they need.
  3. At this rate he still might be... I am very concerned about his injuries, but depending on who's available at our slot, I'd certainly think about it.
  4. Nah. Bears are the whipping boy of the league...we get grief no matter what.

  6. F 'em. Give them a slice of cheese with their whine. (Agreed on the Bi-queens...turnaround is fair play.)
  7. Screw that. Last I checked Chicago is still in Chicago. Baltimore can go F itself...and ponder how they jacked the Bi-queens a few years ago... Everyone in the league knows we are run by a bunch of twits. If there was face to save, I'd say you're on to something.
  8. I just never chat....always seems problematic
  9. Not sure... Certainly worth considering depending on what other options are there.
  10. Keeping my fingers crossed....
  11. I'm basically saying that trading down has very rarely yielded an significant advantage from just picking at your alotted spot. If there are nothing but garbage slot OL's...then no, don't pick one. Hopefully there will be some other need that we can fill, like DT. Something tells me there will be someone on the O or D line that we can pick at 29 that is reasonable...
  12. At nickel, I think you can sell many of us on him! On an island, he's a liability... Agreed...just pick w/ our pick JA!
  13. Heck, I'm sure he could have played free safety! The man is a beast! But...I get your point. Yeah...the musical positions thing doesn't appear to work from the small test. Few have pulled it off with great success. It's almost like a player is doomed, right or wrong, to the first position coaches put him in. All or nothing... For every Ronnie Lott that went CB to S...there are far many more than were abject failures. Heck, I even wonder of Hester could have been an amazing corner... He seems to run on instinct. I remember in his first year, he was onD on Madden...and a year into my franchise and the guy was all-pro! If only...
  14. "Awsome" alone can't describe it!
  15. I really don't want to draft a WR first...I fear too much learning curve regardless who it is...and we so desperately need the OL help. Steve Smith is intruiging. His profile is a bit too similar to what we have..(short & speedy). But he is a vet. I don't think I'd have any issue picking him up on the relatively cheap.
  16. Much appreciated! You're knowledge is certainly welcomed by me at minimum! Thank you for sharing your thoughts on these issues.
