Our next game against Detroit.....
Detroit is dead last in the league, 32nd, against the run, giving up an average of 207.7 yards per game. If we pound away with Forte, he could have the best game of his rookie season in week 5. It should be a great game for him to highlight his skills.

Kyle's passes look more crisp tonight
I have to agree with you. Orton has not been a disappointment for me so far. I did think we would be going to Rex in week 5, only because I thought Kyle would be cremated by the Philly defense. A lot of posters a criticizing the Bears' offensive line but remember this, against a very respected OL of Pittsburgh, the Philly defense had 9 sacks, lots of hits and hurries, and knocked the stuffing out of Big Ben just a week ago. The Philly defense coached by a heck of a DC, is "That Good".

Tommie Needs to Shut it Down...
Agree with you 100%. We have too much invested in this guy to take a chance. Our DTs are excellent and we have great depth. They did fine last night. I want a healthy Tommie in the 2nd half of the season.

Noots' Notes Game 4: 24-20 Win over PHI
Oops, sorry. Doubled up.

Noots' Notes Game 4: 24-20 Win over PHI
Noots, excellent job. M Brown had a heck of a hit on a receiver during the game, near the goal line, but can't remember the receiver's name. Might have been a TE. I thought the defense as a whole deserved a game ball for this one, excellent job of shutting down a top 10 offense. Hope you do not mind, added a double line break to the title of the article to clean it up a bit.

Why we will win sunday...
If I thought it would guarantee us 14-2, I would take up a collection so you could afford to take off the next 14 games and watch us win out, LOL.

PlayCalling - WTF!!!!
Give him another year or 2 and he will be demanding a new contract "or else".

Atlanta Sucks
Against the Falcons we definately put 8 in the box and dare Ryan to beat us with his arm. I am not sure we can put Tennessee in the same category as the other 7 contests you mention. I have lost picking TEN to lose every week in the pick'ems not thinking they are "that" good, now I am beginning to think their defense just might be "that" good.

BEARS WINNAA!!!!
Your right, in all the heavy drinking (kool-aid that is) Maynard's punt at the end of the game has been overlooked somewhat. That was a heck of a punt. If he shanks it or does a "Theisman" (if you are old enough you will know what I mean, lol) then the game might have ended differently. (That Theisman punt is a very fond memory! God I dislike the guy. Arrogance personified.)

Your first place Chicago Bears
Yep, we need to win games like the next 2 coming up, Atlanta & Detroit. Minny is not the "goods" as advertised in preseason talk, they are VERY beatable. 5 & 2 going into Bye week would put us in great shape. Rodgers is beginning to look very pedestrian and was injured during the game in Tampa. He has not shown to be durable. His back ups, LOL. Detroit is stinking up the place. Can they go 0-16? We still have a legitimate shot at winning our division!

No huddle offense
I definately liked it. I hope we see it again. I am not sure it is necessary unless you are facing a monster defense like Philly or you are limited in time, such as in a two minute drill or trying to come from behind.

Eagles @ Bears 9-28
In the pick'ems, for the first time I can remember, I chose Philadelphia to win, I did not think we had a chance, I can not be happier that I was wrong. A great game by the Bears.

Eagles @ Bears 9-28
Yea, I saw it on the replay after I posted that. At first I did not see a receiver nearby. Looks like they did a good job keeping Clark from running his route and Orton had released it before he could realize Clark would not be where he was suppose to be. Oh well.

Eagles @ Bears 9-28
Who the hell was he throwing to?

Eagles @ Bears 9-28
20 yd TD pass to Hester down the right sideline.
-
Eagles @ Bears 9-28
3 TD passes, Olsen, Booker, & Hester. Unbelievable!

Kyle's passes look more crisp tonight
I was thinking the same thing. Also seems to have more zip on the ball.

Eagles @ Bears 9-28
My word, First Olsen, now Booker. Maybe we are finally getting to see some offense.
-
When the Bears pickup this Olsen guy?
Agreed! Maybe this open the eyes and minds of our staff?

Eagles @ Bears 9-28
What a kick ass start!! Keep it up!!

Bears waive Mark Bradley
I am sure Tampa was wanting to get Hamilton back on their practice squad. We were smart to sign the kid, he looked pretty good playing against us last week. Now Tampa is always looking for WRs, where they could use a player like Rideau. Let's hope they do not turn around and sign him off our practice squad.

Congrats to Alaskan Grizzly......
My hat is off to you my friend, I only came up with a coin toss, 8/8 - To get 11 right on a crazy week like week 3 is fantastic. Madlithuanian, ChiliBear, Ostrogoth, & Iguana also were on target with 10 wins each! I will try to get the new sheets up tonight!

Expectations
Agreed, it is very entertaining and I must admit I enjoyed Ditka's antics and Cower's spit and fire on the sidelines. However, many a coach who showed little emotion on the sidelines were very successful. Does Dungy show any more emotion than Lovie? Was Landry vocal on the field? Belichick is certainly not very animated. The list is long.

Why not trade Olsen and Anderson?
I could see maybe 10 reps per game to KJ. No more unless Forte needs more rest do to injury. I do think Kellen Davis showed enough in preseason to get a few looks per game. Nothing more, but at least a few to see how he progresses.
