It never hurts to take a flyer on a QB and RB during every draft. Injuries occur and you need to keep players in the pipe-line ready to take over for a starter. Good teams do this. Angelo does it all the time on defense. He has to start doing it on offense as well.

Well the Vegas Bookies had us as 3.5 point favorites to beat Detroit. I guess they had little faith, LOL. We did quite well against Detroit. Now I see the opening lines for the next game with us favored by 2.5 points to beat Atlanta. I guess we still have a lot to prove to the Vegas Bookies. If we stop Turner/Norwood, we take them with out too much trouble. They also have Minny Favored to beat Detroit by 13 points and Seattle favored by 2.5 to take the Packers. I am a bit concerned that Minny will pick things up. I hope not. They play NOS tonight and I have a feeling they can upset the Saints because NOS defense sucks against the run. If they win that one and then defeat Detroit, they would have a little momentum coming into Chicago and should have their big left tackle back in the lineup by then. I think it will all depend on how we handle their running game. If we stop their run, we will take them without trouble. They will give us trouble with their run defense but their pass defense, ooops, forgot, they do not have one.

To be honest, the TD Forte got by stretching the ball over the goal line - IMO - was not a TD. I thought replay showed clearly his knee was down before he got his arms stretched out and the ball over the GL. I was shocked when it was not overtuned, BUT VERY HAPPY IT WASN'T.

Prior to the last 2 weeks I would have agreed with you but they sure did not impress me against Washington and CIN was suppose to be one of the worse defenses in the league coming into this week and gave Dallas a run for their money. Do not get me wrong, they are a darn good team, but I just do not think Dallas is as good as they were billed at the start of the season.

I think we win by a TD. It will be close in the first half then we will start to put pressure on Kitna and force a few turnovers. I see us winning 34 to 24.

I love both players but if one had to sit I think Vasher would have been my choice as I think Graham can replace Vasher better than Tillman. We need Tillman's height and ball-stripping ability on the field.

Interesting idea. If he comes back and is productive, becomes the Pro Bowl caliber DT we know he is capable of being, and Harrison proves to be as good as I believe he can be, we could trade Harris, because of his contract structure, and get good return. I wonder what we could get in return? Any idea what a player of his stature would demand? I know most will say 2 number 1s, but very few teams are willing to give up that kind of deal. Any ideas?

You are correct, and if we for some reason have to go away from Harris (and I do not think we will have to) I think we drafted his replacement in Harrison and I suspect this kid could be a top 3 technique DT in the league in a year or two.

No, I love the guy, I agree with most on the forum, he is playing to the highest level of all our LBs, heck he is playing the best of any defensive or offensive player on the team at this point. He is our team MVP at this point in the season. However, I still say, he and his agent will be looking to redo his contract, which he accepted but was not entirely happy with, in a year or two.

If you look closely at this picture, especially in full size, it appears the ball has broken the goal line. We may have lucked out on this call because I think technically this should have been a TD. Maybe it is just the angle of the shot.

Your behavior on the forum does not put you in a position to criticize someone for being derogatory toward another poster, IMO. You jump all over anyone who differs with your opinions but do not like it when the favor is returned. You try and mask it with green fonts but it still is the same deal. IMO, you are an excellent poster but do not show objectivity as much as you should. You need to acknowledge, from time to time, you might just be wrong on a subject. I know it is hard for you to believe this, but we all blow it from time to time because we are so convinced we are right that it is hard to see the other person's view point as having merit when it differs from your own. In the case of Rex vs Kyle, if you are right, time will tell. Just sit back and relax a bit and let performance on the field tell the story. No need to press the issue, we already know your opinion very well. History will do that for you, if correct, or prove you wrong if you are misled. I personally do not like anyone on the forum being called a dumb ass or idiot for saying what they truly believe is correct on the forum. We are all entitled to our opinion. Things like this tend to crop up when someone goes overboard trying to convince others to fall in a line behind them and believe as they do instead of having a different opinion.
