At 119, it's D.J. Moore
Or does he play Safety? Or do we now move Tillman or Vasher to Safety? Gives us some interesting scenerios.

Official 2009 NFL Draft Thread
It was for the 4th selection in the 3rd rd and the 4th selection in the 4th rd, giving us 2 3rds, 2 4ths, & 2 5ths. I think it was a good trade in that the players we wanted with the 2nd were gone and the players remaining we were targeting will probably still be there in the 3rd.

Agreed, we got very high selections in the 3rd & 4th. We got better value than DAL got for an almost idental trade. Lets see how it works out.

Dallas, shortly after we traded out of the 2nd, traded their 2nd for the 75th & 110th picks.

If we go WR you ould be right. I am totally confused as to what we do. Possibly trade down.

Move up for Louis Delmas?
That really sucks, especially going to DET.

Bears are going to have to bring in a FA after the draft for WR help, too many WRs going in the first.

What the hell is a team as good as NEP going to do with all the picks they are stock piling?

Yep, did not want Harvin to go to MIN. If he works out, could be a great pick for them.

JD reports we want D Williams
I'd be disappointed with that pick.

Love it, bet DEN was going to pick Freeman, now they lose out, thank you TBB. Thank you CLE. LOL

As usual, some weird things going on. Maybin taken before Orakpo, DHB taken before Crabtree, Den goes RB in rd 1 instead of addressing their Defense which is by far their greatest weakness.

Good, did not want Crabtree in our division. However, Raji could be very good pick for GBP.

I guess it depends on what one thinks of Sanchez. He is a likeable kid, but with only 14 starts under his belt, you talk about high risk, wow. If he pans out, yes, it is a steal. I am guessing they will regret the trade up.

They trade 3 players plus their first & second round picks this year for a QB who started only 14 games in college? A bit risky if you ask me, and they will probably wind up paying him more than we will pay Cutler. I like the Cutler deal more and more. Stafford robs the bank. Cassell gets 30+ million guaranteed. I am tickled with Cutler.

Lions agree with Stafford
If Crabtree is there for Cleveland, I can't see them passing on him.
-
Jay Cutler & Nightlife?
Seems to me he knows how to have fun but yet takes his new position with the Bears quite seriosly:

Love Robiskie, would be thrilled to have him in rd 2. Good draft IMO.

The Podium
According to DraftCountdown.com Cleveland's Team Needs are: 1. Outside Linebacker: Former first round pick Kamerion Wimbley has regressed after a solid rookie season and they really don't have another starting-quality option to rush pass opposite him. 2. Defensive Back: Cornerback Brandon McDonald is probably better suited for a backup role while former starting safety Sean Jones bolted as free agent they have yet to find a replacement. 3. Tight End: In somewhat of a surprise move Kellen Winslow was traded and while Martin Rucker could get the first crack at replacing him odds are they will need to bring in some more help. The top player remaining that would fit one of these needs is my selection for the Browns 50. Jared Cook TE South Carolina Next - on the clock..... 51. Dallas Cowboys - Chitownhustla

Lions close to signing Stafford
On NFL Network they said that a deal had been agreed on by Curry and that if Stafford did not agree to a deal by draft time the Lions would probably go Curry. It puts even more pressure on Stafford and gives the Lions a backup plan.

Bears Expo 2009 - Sunday May 17th
Bears Expo 2009 Information Page Gary (bowlingtwig), his wife Pam, his son Jarrett and I (Pixote) plan on attending the Expo this year (I will be buying the tickets this weekend). I was wondering who else might be attending. We could possibly get a chance to meet each other and enjoy "Bears Nation".
